    Hello
I have 4 floor loops and RTL valves on the returns. My question: the rtl valve tee has an arrow indicating the flow direction, the plumber connected the other way round, does it have an effect? I would like to add that the floor heating has never warmed up properly, that is, the loops heat up individually, but when all of them work, it heats up in no way, and only now I noticed these arrows.

Correct RTL assembly. Use the arrow to the manifold return beam.

Turns out you have all 4 mounted upside down.
Write the truth, was it mounted by the "plumber" or you?
Somehow I find it hard to believe that the "plumber" made such a simple mistake.

Someone who put an arrow there not to ignore it, because if it didn't matter, the arrow wouldn't be there.

Wow, a plumber did it next door, you can say that his learned profession is a plumber, now, after so many years, cramp, he'll probably turn around, but I can see that it won't be easy

Hello, I have a plumber, and the rtl valves are the same, the floor could not be adjusted. Either it was very hot or the inflow and the floor were cold. Today I called him and he turned in the direction of the arrow. Now all the loops heat up properly.

Believe it, buddy, because my plumber connected the regulator on the supply, not on the return. The effect was that at low and medium temperature settings, the controller knocked as if someone were hitting the pipes with a hammer. The knocking ceased when the regulator was opened to maximum temperature. I downloaded the instruction to the regulator, where it is clearly indicated how it is to be attached. I moved the regulator from the power supply to the back and took it off with my hand.
I met this plumber by accident at a DIY store and told about the incident. He replied that he must have made a mistake and incorrectly wired the regulator.
The name itself - Rücklauftemperaturbegrenzer (return temperature limiter) - indicates the place of installation.

    And which beam is supplying?

@arturk884 I have identical valves and they are installed in the wrong direction :D I don't know how you can miss something like this :D

Please tell me if reversing the direction helped?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues with RTL underfloor heating systems, specifically concerning the incorrect installation of RTL valves. The user reports that their four floor loops do not heat properly, with individual loops functioning but failing to heat collectively. Responses indicate that the RTL valve tee's flow direction, marked by an arrow, is crucial for proper operation. Several participants confirm that reversing the valve connections resolved similar heating issues. One user shares their experience of a plumber incorrectly connecting a regulator, leading to operational problems, which were fixed by following the manufacturer's instructions. The consensus emphasizes the importance of adhering to the indicated flow direction for optimal heating performance.
