Hello, I have a bootable flash drive made by rufus in the FAT32 system and the UEFI option under GPT but the bios does not detect this flash drive in the boot menu for me.

    Secure boot I have disabled.

Generally, I do it under GPT, because I have one partition that I can't delete, and under MBR, I can't install the system, because the error crashes.
Can I count on any help?

And this pendrive works in the assumed way on other computers?

Show the tab in the bios how it looks, whether it appears there. If it does not show the name of your USB stick directly in the boot menu, but detects it in Bios, then use the USB HDD option.

    Boot "legacy support" enabled?

It is most likely that a badly made USB boot must be tested on another computer.

Even if it should be visible anyway.

Not enough information to locate the problem.

Does the BIOS detect your PenDriva? I mean, do you see him, his markings in any BIOS tab?

If you use UEFI mode, if the Bootable Disk has been badly made, or there is an incompatible system, UEFI will not show USB Disk or PenDriva in the boot options, but it usually appears somewhere in the BIOS.

If the USB system has a 32-bit UEFI version and the supported version on your computer is 64-bit (and vice versa), the system installation will not start and the UEFI file will not be detected or an incompatibility error will appear.

    questions:
What system are you trying to install and in what version?
What options do you choose in RUFUS to create a bootable USB?
What is this flash drive? Some flash drives have problems being detected when turning on the computer (although it won't help, because the only way to determine if you have this problem is to use a different PenDriva or USB drive).

Boot Legacy will help if you are installing a system incompatible with UEFI. Disabling Secure Boot will only help if the system you are installing is UEFI compatible, but it is some older version of one system, or a test version of some exotic system that does not have the appropriate certificates to run in Secure Boot. If you are installing a modern system, no matter if it is Windows or Linux, they are mostly compatible with full UEFI and Secure Boot.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Lenovo 100-15IBY laptop where the BIOS fails to detect a bootable flash drive created with Rufus in FAT32 format and UEFI GPT partition scheme. The user has disabled Secure Boot and is unable to install the system due to a non-deletable partition. Responses suggest checking if the USB drive is recognized in the BIOS, enabling legacy support, and testing the USB drive on other computers. Additionally, it is noted that compatibility issues may arise if the UEFI version of the bootable drive does not match the system's architecture (32-bit vs. 64-bit).
