Hi. Does anyone of you have and share a set of zipped and tested files to update the ESP8266 module with the 8Mbit chip? I am concerned with getting the AT commands working correctly. There may also be a copy of the whole flash, I have a programmer. I've spent a lot of time looking for the latest version and either it's impossible to download a file or they don't give you the addresses you need to type in for a particular file, on top of that they've messed with the flash sizes altogether. Someone post a working set with a description.

I have Flasher version 3.6.1.0, addresses are set, I have tried files from different versions, they load but in the end the only effect is that the ESP sends me back the commands it received. I don't think it's defective, because it works half-heartedly on the old board, responds to commands correctly, sees networks but doesn't connect to any. I have no idea.

I have already figured out where the mistake was, my mistake. The previous version only required $0D to be sent at the end of the line and I got lazy and these new ones require $0D$0A (CR and LF). All the previous ones that responded the same to commands were ok. It's already connecting to the network.
