My question is if anyone also locked themselves out of the module but managed to unlock it. The won firmware is : ESP8266...

If something went wrong when uploading the FW then it just won't boot. Upload FW to it again. Make sure the version definitely matches your board. I mean especially the flash size and if you uploaded the fw under the correct offsets.

I downloaded the firmware from this site and I don't know if this firmware fits all modules. Inside this folder there are several files (boot and esp_init_data) I don't know which one to upload. My module has 16 Mbit flash .

Upload them all. Inside you have the readme.

Hello I had the same problem with uploading the software for this module. The reason was exactly the same error with addressing as you did. After correcting the address everything works and the module responds to AT commands. In conclusion thanks for the inspiration to find such a trivial error. Regards.

I had the same problem with uploading the software for this module. The reason was exactly the same error with addressing as you did. After correcting the address everything works and the module responds to AT commands.
