    Hello,
I would like the opinions of someone knowledgeable and experienced in cellular antennas. After browsing many topics, the choice was on the DWR-921 and the Dual LTE directional antenna (some Yagi comments are welcome, although I can do it myself), towards the nearest Playa, which in my area is millions of light years from the cottage :) And here is my question, it makes sense to invest in it or give it up because it's too far ... So I am asking for advice from someone who is overwhelmed, i.e. whether to go to PLaya or can it work in a different direction (in the sense of a different transmitter). Currently at home It looks like when I make a router with an iPhone 4s that only has 3G, the internet smiga better than my wifi, so I started to think about it seriously (I'm in the Play network) because even playing via the net on PS4 does not do much of a problem.
My location: Wola Stróska, commune Zakliczyn and the transmitter is probably the best in Roztoka, about 6 km from me.
    best regards

The directional antenna is a good option. The topography is of the greatest importance. In your case, positioning on the mast in Roztoka may have the same effect as positioning on the mast in Jurków. It does not hurt to check the mast in Gromnik. As you already have a directional antenna and a good BTS positioning. Set the antenna for specific BTS and take measurements with some speed test :)

Very poor hardware selection, the DWR-921 is an old LTE 3 category router. Without the possibility of forcing LTE bands and signal diagnostics. As for the range, it is due to the topography. forests are rather from Roztoka or Jurków. LTE1800, LTE800 and LTE2100 are also confirmed on these BTS. Aggregation of LTE-A bands also works. Play tests must be performed outside before selecting the antenna. There is a chance for LTE1800 + 800 aggregation on the appropriate antenna and router. Possibly on LTE1800. band and antenna selection after testing.
