I dismantled this driver and after undressing I do not visually detect any damage. out of curiosity, I read the memory of 25l040. My question is whether someone is able to say something about this topic or is there a chance to resuscitate this driver? Something bad with info on the forum about this ailment

But I will tell you because I fought with a mistake without a specific cause for another error number 50c3 but described as an internal error ..... that is something with electronics. And strange because sometimes ABS worked.
I changed the driver and went the same and touched me that the electric engine was left in the ABS pump .... and here the dog was buried. The motor owed, or rather the brushes ended, the measurement at the motor connector gave a break and after dismantling the engine inside the brush sludge and the clogged commutator, unfortunately, only one way way - SCRAP

So it is worth checking the engine and even power it 12v and listen. wrongs can not be done and can explain a lot.

Something in this may be because as after connecting the CDIf and entering the executive elements, I started the engine, it was silence ... the question whether the engine or error matters and does not perform the function. I will check the engine myself tomorrow though I used to fight with Toureg and the engine was knocked down but it showed its error. I will connect the controller itself for the installation and see if it will show the engine error.

It will not show the engine error, this driver does not catch it ..... only determines the internal error of the calculator. Diagnosis DDT2000 I do not know about CLIP because I do not have it.

I will say more that I reminded myself that when I tried to control the outputs, the motor was sometimes spoken and after that some time ABS worked ... after several hundred meters and sharp braking, unfortunately the error returned. What supports the theory that the fault of the engine and with the time he caught this error has disappeared.

If you have an open driver, you can see the motor's contacts, I would connect the 5W bulb and have it on the plate if the power goes to the motor.

VW has a different driver software so it can detect the engine, something that I think that some car had a separate plug to the engine so logically that it detects a specific engine error and in Renówka the contacts inside and the developers have cut the diagnosis.

After checking the motor, everything ok ... the motor works is elegant in the middle, and after connecting to the controller in the output to the 5W light bulb and connecting the CDiF-a mistake is the same. Before disassembling the ABS pump, I connected the CDiF and went over to check the parameters and all OK, the sensors from the wheels read, the acceleration sensor works and the turn too. I suspect that the driver replacement will remain I found the same numbers for all ... oh, only the question still remains whether the problem is in memory or something else ...

I close the topic because I installed another ABS driver and configured, although I do not hide that I'm curious about this driver.
