I live in a detached house and I need to install a wireless bell that will be resistant to weather conditions (the transmitter will be placed on the gate, receiver in the hall at the entrance door), operating at a distance of about 25 / 30m. I already bought three different models of bells in the dark, but all of them stopped working after a relatively short time, which is why I decided to consult now. I have browsed various similar topics on the Internet, including here on the forum, but I have not found any specific information. The most valuable mention was of the Zamel brand, but without any specific models worthy of attention.

I would like to add that at the moment I have no possibility of pulling the installation and mounting a normal bell - it is in the plan, but only in the summer of next year, so until then I need something else.

How much money do you want to spend? Because maybe you are interested in a wireless intercom? "

Since this is supposed to be a solution for a few months, I do not want to spend a cash register :) I hoped that I would find something for PLN 200, say, suggesting these products to Zamel.

When browsing I found, for example Wireless doorbell Zamel Samba ST-950 SUN10000413 but the opinions there are different, so I still count on the help of forum members.

A two-year warranty is everyone who is bought in the store, but I would prefer not to have to play with it ;) Thanks for the hint, I'll look at this Sterr.

We use this bell and recommend it, because the button does not require a battery, and the receiver is at 230V. The disadvantage is its small range, i.e. like in the Zamelu, but if the range is enough (it is), it works steadily. Another disadvantage is the lack of volume control, and ... price :)

And what does it mean "a little small range, or how is it in Zamelu"? :) In the description, it is 100m, but from experience I expect less - the question: how much?

100 m, it's just how you can "see" (open space) transmitter with receiver. When they "can not see", I will say that it is thin, but it is best to check empirically by buying it at a DIY store, eg Cast ... where we can easily hand it over if it does not work.

    greetings

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around finding a durable, weather-resistant wireless bell suitable for a detached house, with a range of 25-30 meters.
