Hi everyone. At the outset, I would like to point out that my knowledge of IT, etc. is basic. To the point. Yesterday I bought myself a Lenovo Y520 Laptop with I5 7gen, 8 gb GB framework RAM and gtx 1050 TI 4 gb GB framework RAM. Excited, I started setting up my new toy initially. I finally installed CS GO and was happy to play some nice titles on high settings again. My last computer had a Radeon HD 3850 from 10 years ago. After that, I didn't have any equipment until now. And I set everything to the max in CS Go and what? Slight surprise. The game is playing weird. There are times when I have 100fps but when more is happening it's 50fps, sometimes 25-40fps. I've been combining something in the card settings, but I don't know it great. I am honestly disappointed and I don't know if I have faulty hardware or something is wrong, but I just didn't want to play anything. I would like to point out that these fps drops are rather noticeable, the game starts to sluggish.
I also did the vertical sync off, the FPS increased but waved a lot. On and after turning off unnecessary programs it was better because it oscillated in the range of 50-60FPS but without such drops, it was smoother but still strange.
