He greets everyone warmly and thank you in advance for your time.

I suspect that the AL 1115 CV 3.6V-10.8V - 1.5A charger for the PSR 10.8 LI-2 screwdriver is not working properly.
After inserting a discharged battery (with a voltage of approx. 8.75 VDC), the green LED blinks for a while (which in this model means charging) and then stops (which symbolizes charging).
Unfortunately, the battery still has a voltage of 8.75 VDC and when inserted into the screwdriver, the generated power is so small that it can barely start and spin for a few seconds.
I thought it was the "dead battery" fault, but I bought a new battery and it worked very well...until the first charge.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem and know where to look for the cause?

I would start by analyzing the schematic, looking for any burnt elements on the board. Scheme below:

However, I decided to buy a new charger, as the cost was acceptable (PLN 69).

Ultimately, I could spend a few hours trying to analyze and try without effect, and I would still have to buy a charger.
I was hoping someone on the forum might have had a similar experience.

    For posterity:
In my case, the new charger passed the exam. The screwdriver works like new.
    I'm closing the topic.
