    I have R 610 Sabina.
This Unitry radio has a double frequency conversion - 10 wave ranges, and a "soul".
The price for this receiver is ridiculous :D

Russian radios, e.g. Ocean, VEF 206, have several short wave bands each. Some of the amateur shortwave bands can be found in these bands ..

PLN 250 is a bit too little for a new global receiver. It is worth looking for stimulants Tecsun, Degen, Sony, Grundig, Sangean. Yesterday I saw Sony's OLX (I won't forget the model) for PLN 170 - it's gone now. I myself am using Intersound WE-12M (a copy of Sangean ATS-803A) bought for PLN 30 from a gully on the market and I am very pleased. :D

Are you looking for a station there (i.e., AM, as formerly Free Europe), or listen for amateur connections and some others (SSB, CW).
Apart from the ranges themselves, "home" will not have SSB and CW, "global" usually yes

I recommend the amazing DEGEN DE1103 - in your budget funkiel new with Ali. The radio is sensational and beats competition much more expensive. Of course, it has AM / FM and SSB (amateur and spy stations, communication in the oceans, long-distance flight control, etc.)

here the movie I recorded a long time ago:
