    Hello.
I have a P8 lite 2 years. Recently, the battery began to discharge quickly. Now he holds about 30-40 hours. Some will think that it's a lot, but I do not use the cell very much. It has recently withstood 4-5 days or even more. Sometimes I get something called, text messages, I use wi-fi only when I want to check something. I do not even have any fb apps installed, twitter instagram - I do not use this phone on this phone.
What I have done so far and has not given any results:
    - I turned off wi-fi, bluetooth, gps, data transfer, location (turn on only when I use)
    - I have disabled applications running in the background, power-hungry
    - I set the power saving functions
    - I have the brightness of the screen about 40% (from the beginning I had it)
Due to the fact that it did not help, I replaced the battery with a new one. to my disappointment is the same.

Is there anything else I can do? Maybe there is a problem somewhere else, and I do not know.

Install Wakelock Detector, check what the phone wakes up.

The Wi-Fi chip has been broken, it can download several dozen mA on the switched off phone. The factory defect of this model.

Can something be done without root? I'm not sure if I can get it.

Can something be done about it? e.g. replace the module? I've already started the whole phone (at the same time the back flap went into a small poppy), then I can do it again, as if it gave something.

Did not update the system colleague?
Personally, I do not have an android but I know that there is such a thing as the charging cycle counter and after many cycles for safety the battery is not recharged to full and needs to be reset in the system. It suits my colleague's description the most.

As for the android, I updated somewhere in July. The problem appeared a month ago.
I have not heard about the meter. Maybe something like that. Only that I replaced the battery with a new one and this problem did not solve. Unless you would have to reset something in the system anyway, the only reset I know is "restore factory settings".

    PS I am a woman :)
