Hello! I have the following problem; when I want to format my 32GB microSD card, I put it in the adapter, move the jumper, adapter to the computer, open "My Computer" with the right mouse button on my card -> Format. And here comes the error. I'm trying to format but at the end I get the message "Windows was unable to format"

What is wrong? Did the card fall?

I would add that the card was used for over 2 years, it was used to record videos from the car camera. I came across the problem by accident, as it turned out that I need to rip something from the card and only old recordings there - that is, for a long time did not save anything.
Or is it a trivial thing, but I'm too stupid to solve it myself?

I will add that the eggs are with this card, if I manually delete files from it, i.e. PPM -> delete and almost all files are removed normally (a progress bar is shown, it takes a while, etc.) there are only 2 files about 0kb which I do not want to delete and with them the parent directories. The strange thing is that all files return after a while. They come back normally. I remove, disconnect the card from the computer, after some time (5 minutes np) I plug it again and what? The files are back intact ... Have you ever encountered anything like this?

I tried to format the card with various programs (e.g. SD Formatter, gparted, sd format, hd low level format, DMDE, reset it with various other programs) and nothing. Either it undergoes zeroing / formatting, but the files still remain, or there is an error that it cannot reset / format.
How I do chkdsk I have info: Deleting invalid long \ CARDV \ MOVIE folder entry ...
90% done ..... - And it ends there
Once I had info about "the file is crossed in the allocation unit .." and here were the numbers and the path along with the file

    Can the card be saved?
Thank you in advance for your help.

You didn't select the whole capacity for the test?

Looking at the transfer, you may conclude that the card has been damaged.

I marked "all available space" and shows me here differently, once 480 mb MB, now 690 mb MB and the card has 31,644 properties mb MB.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 32GB microSD card that the user is unable to format after two years of use in a car camera. The user encounters an error message stating "Windows was unable to format" when attempting to format the card via a computer. Despite successfully deleting most files, two 0KB files remain undeletable. Responses indicate that the card may be defective, as tests using H2Testw reveal significant data loss and corruption. The card's capacity appears inconsistent, suggesting damage. Recommendations include further testing and checking the card's information for diagnostics.
