I have a problem with the Fiesta MK6. There were more problems and the battery was to blame for most of it. The battery is new. The speedometer does not work in the car and the kilometers are not counted. All systems are error free (except for PCM and P1000). The meter test is positive, i.e. the tip works. The speed is always 0 km / h in the readings in the engine control unit and odometer while driving. The lack of a VSS sensor in the box, more speed must be taken from the ABS. No faults in ABS. Readings without any distortion from each wheel. It was logical that the ABS pump was probably under the battery, and there were signs that the acid was once coming out of the battery. Pump changed to another (identical numbers) effects - no effect. IDS crashes during the network test that it does not see the box driver, but the manual is there. So VIN and checking, but it turned out to be factory manual.
Has anyone ever experienced something like this?
Are there any settings somewhere that, for example, gets a signal from the box or ABS?

Damaged engine, damaged batch or processor in the table. Change the board, adjust the mileage, this is the fastest way to solve the problem.

The engine from the speedometer does not work in the test, and also does not count kilometers. As for the meter, the immo is in it, to try to put it at least ???? ?????????? and whether the speed meter is not also in the engine controller ??????????

I know the reason. The wrong engine driver is fitted.

Is anyone able to write after the VIN number what should be ???????????

Connect to the ABS and see if it can see the speed of the wheels while driving. And leave the ECU alone, I think.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a malfunctioning speedometer in a Ford Fiesta MK6, where the speedometer fails to register speed and the odometer does not count kilometers. The user has replaced the battery and ABS pump, but the issue persists with no error codes detected, except for PCM and P1000. Responses suggest potential causes including a damaged engine control unit, incorrect engine driver, or issues with the ABS system. Recommendations include checking the ABS for wheel speed readings and ensuring the correct engine driver is installed.
