Hello. I have a Ford Transit 2.2 TDCI from 2011. The problem is that when closing the car, whether using the remote control or the key, the locks lock without a problem, but there is always a horn signal, unless I "push" the driver's door because normally after closing it, the door "bounces" for 1 cm . Where's the sensor? Can I adjust this door so that it latches properly? How to do it provisionally until I do some more thorough repair?

The problem is probably in the wrong adjustment or improper functioning of the lock, the horn is probably a warning about the fact that the door did not lock - the fight with the horn is the wrong direction, the lock must be repaired.

The question is, can you adjust the door in every plane or just buy a new lock? Because if there is a way that the door does not "leave" 1 cm after closing, I will not have to buy new parts.

The lock staple can be loosened and moved a few millimeters outwards.

If, on the other hand, they do not go away, it is only necessary to determine the cause, which may consist of damage or misalignment of the lock or hinges. At the beginning, remember where the problem of "going away" began, from collisions, dismantling the door, for example, to repair the glass mechanism or another event?
