    Ford Transit mk7, 2008, 2.4 disel
The fuse in the passenger compartment 10A red blows, it turns out that it is fuse No. 68 - The control module of the supplementary safety system, although I will not cut my hand.
It happens when closing / opening the door with the central locking remote control, it results in:
    - no dipped and long lights, although the lights on the board are lit.
    - inoperative wipers
    - no reaction of the central lock.
Recently, the central locking module has been replaced with a new one, because the old one has died.

Do you know why it got damaged? Maybe one of the wiring harnesses is worn and when you open / close the door, the beam shakes, a short circuit occurs, the end of which you know. Do you have the option to give him power, excluding the current fuse? I mean bringing the cable from the battery, with the fuse connected in series.

All in all, I am not 100% sure, but most likely the fuse was blown out by a jammed sliding door lock.
The lock "allowed" to lock the lock, but it was jammed when you tried to unlock it. The engine from the control panel burned out, and thus most likely the fuse.
But I have another problem with the switchboard :( this will be the topic of the next post: /
