    Hello.

Yesterday I bought an Asus F751N Laptop with a 304 BIOS. Honestly, for the first time I am dealing with a bios different from the classic one. The thing is that now the hardware is usually loaded Windows 10, which I can not work for anything. So - I uninstalled '10 and set it to BIOS, okay - priorities set to dvd cd rom, in Security Secure Boot Control to disabled, I'm just looking and looking for where to change from UEFI to CSM Legacy. There is no option. I tried to install without, but a startup problem. It hangs on Windows Starting. Somebody knows?

Will you install anything other than 10 on this? Skipping that there is some celeron sitting there is a problem with controls graphics drivers for a system other than 10.

I also have the same problem. I have a laptop ASUS R541N with bios 304
    Intel Celeron n3350 1.1GHz
    4gb of RAM
    ssd SanDisk ssd Plus 240GB
3 weeks of fighting and nothing helped. I have installed Windows 10 with 4 times. Secure Boot disable, and csm vain to look for. Unless there's something we don't know about, buddy .....

Are you talking about installing win7 from pendrajwa or maybe from a DVD you tried to install?

And USB flash drive and original Windows7. I thought maybe the disc was damaged, I borrowed from a friend bought in the store. It didn't work. I even found a copy from the web, with no results.

    Fast Boot turned off too?
Have you looked at whether 8 or 8.1 starts better? Maybe you need to add UEFI to windows?

8 / 8.1 I did not try to win. As for UEFI, yes and no. I had my W7 board with UEFI itself, I had a normal one from my friend after I made bootable pdrv. Nothing moved either.

But why should anyone break it? While installing the seven by force probably will be possible, what is the point of doing this, since Intel did not release the driver for the graphics card in this processor for Win7? It will be tragic on a standard VGA driver. Choosing the rest of the drivers will not be either easy or possible. So I would not count on the fact that someone will especially try hard seven on this equipment properly run, it's a pity :)

I read somewhere that there may be a problem finding and then correct driver work. No support / update for older OSs. All in all, installing a seven in such a case is art for art's sake. I do not quite make sense greetings

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the challenges faced when attempting to install Windows 7 on an Asus F751N laptop with BIOS version 304, which defaults to UEFI mode. The user has disabled Secure Boot and set the boot priority to DVD/CD-ROM but is unable to find the option to switch from UEFI to CSM Legacy mode. Other participants share similar experiences, noting difficulties in installing Windows 7 due to driver compatibility issues, particularly with Intel Celeron processors, and suggest that the lack of drivers for Windows 7 may render the installation impractical. Some users have attempted various installation methods, including using USB drives and original installation media, but have encountered persistent startup problems.
