Since Friday I have Neostrada in a package with a neon. The modem synchronizes nicely and the internet works. To this day, the status of the VoIP phone in the Funbox panel was: inactive. The system has finally milled the data and the service is displayed as active with the correct phone number. Unfortunately - on the phone (correctly connected to the Panasonic TGC 210 router - wireless) still deaf. When choosing - test - in the panel, the LED on the router starts flashing, but the phone is silent (it should ring). Do I do something wrong? Incorrect telephone set or is the Funbox (new) faulty?

Earlier the phone worked or is it a new purchase? Connected to the TEL socket?

The phone was purchased over a year ago and worked correctly until the end of the traditional service. After connecting to the Tel socket in Funbox and active VoIP service - it is silent - the display shows - check the telephone line - silence in the handset. I also tried to connect an old corded telephone (with active tone dialing) - also silence.

Let the provider verify that the service is working properly.

The problem is that I don't have a cell phone and the landline doesn't work :) . It's just that in my opinion, even if the service on the supplier's side would not work properly, the test of the correct connection of the camera from the Funbox level should work correctly, i.e. after choosing the test option - the camera should start ringing. Since there is silence during the test (the phone diode on the router then flashes - it should be like that), it rather indicates a damage to the Funbox.

    You won't do anything yourself.

I am more and more inclined to the thesis that Funbox is damaged.
I called from a neighbor - the signal was like no one would receive - the Funbox phone diode was blinking (correctly) - the phone connected to him was silent.

After restarting the Funbox (disconnecting the power supply with the switch) - after the Funbox is fully armed, the telephone diode is constantly flashing and the attempt to connect to my number from the neighbor is busy.

Edit: Will a regular wired camera work (theoretically) when connected to Funbox?

    Yes of course.

I have restored the router to factory settings - unfortunately, it did nothing. There remains contact with the operator. I will let you know how it will end.

edit: Funbox 2.0 - was damaged. After replacing with another copy, the phone works properly.
Problem solved, topic closed. Thanks jimasek for the advice.
