And so, I have a Dell Inspiron 15 7560 laptop for a year. I have never had problems with the internet, it all started when I decided to reset it to its initial state. Glad to have a clean laptop, I wanted to turn on WiFi, but where is my WiFi? It's written only "Not connected - no connections are available" and it doesn't show me any network, nothing at all. I tried everything, searched, combined ... I connected the cable to the internet, but nothing even shows the internet. I do not know what happened, I read that maybe I do not have drivers installed, but how do I install if the internet does not work? Please help.

Network adapter drivers may be the main reason for the lack of internet in your laptop
You can try to install them, for example, by downloading card drivers to a pendrive from another computer and transferring to your own
As long as you have the opportunity :D

Insert SS from Device Manager. How did you reset it to default?

You need to update everything and the system and drivers now.

Currently, I have no such opportunity, I tried on the phone ... First, via a USB cable, but another one is a problem, and then via bluetooth, but here too my laptop fails ...

Okay, somehow I managed to transfer the drivers from the phone to the laptop, but I don't know if these are these ... I have no idea what they are supposed to be ...

What did I ask for? Where's the SS from the device manager? How can anyone help you if you do not provide basic information?

There is clearly a lack of drivers for the Wifi card as well as a few others. Enter the device ID "Network Controller" and the system version.

So, as far as I know, you probably mean Windows 8 Version 6.3, but the device id is sorry, where should I find? haha

From what I see on the manufacturer's website there is only support for Windows 10 x64. As for the Inspiron 15 7560 model. If you provide the ID, we'll see what is the Intel or Qualcomm Wifi card there.

You do not have a recovery partition?
Because if you have it, from there restore the system immediately with the drivers ....

The card is Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 3160.
    Drivers to download:

    Windows 8 x64: https://downloadmirror.intel.com/24863/eng/Wireless_17.16.0_De64.exe
    Windows 8.1 x64: https://downloadmirror.intel.com/27310/eng/WiFi_20.10.2_PROSet64_Win8.1.exe

The rest of the devices should also be installed (generally, everything that appears as Other Devices).

Thanks so much for your help! I knew from the beginning that I had no drivers, but none of them worked, apparently I am downloading the wrong ones, thanks again !!!

I will ask you again, do you not have Dell's recovery there? You'll make it much easier to understand how recovery will be. You'll have all the drivers right away.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Dell Inspiron 15 7560 laptop that lost WiFi connectivity after a factory reset. The user initially faced issues with no available networks and suspected missing drivers. Responses suggested downloading the necessary network adapter drivers from another computer and transferring them via USB. The user managed to transfer some drivers but was unsure of their correctness. Further advice included checking the Device Manager for the network controller ID and confirming the operating system version. It was identified that the laptop uses an Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 3160 card, with specific driver links provided for Windows 8 and 8.1. The importance of using the recovery partition for driver restoration was also emphasized.
