Hello everyone, I have a problem with Wi-Fi connected to my Dell Inspiron 7566. I have this laptop for over half a year and it worked reliably all the time, until it began to fail in the internet. All devices in the home use full bandwidth, there is no problem watching movies in 1080p, they load without clipping on androids, iPads, iPhones and other HP laptops, only in my laptop sometimes it is difficult to watch a 360p movie, a file, which weighs 20MB can download for up to 20 minutes. When using Google Chrome, the page does not load from time to time, it only displays the screen with the message "Network change detected". Sometimes also the connection turns off automatically, then I have to click on the wi-fi icon and connect to the network again. I have already tried everything: I changed the password for the router, I made the format of all drives, I thoroughly scanned avast a few times and nothing. Before that, everything would download normally: Steam and Origin games, 1080p movies without plugins, and online games with minimal ping. Well I can't guess what's going on here, that's why I turn to people who know each other. I read about changing the wifi channels in the router settings, but it doesn't work. I have 1.3Mbps score on testmy.net

    I am using the router: tp-link WN841n
The router is located one floor below
    Windows 10

Best regards and please help, I will be very grateful.

Delete all remembered WIFI networks and leave only what you need.

    Two routers on the network?
Give a network diagram with all WIFI points / routers / repeaters.

I will do what gentlemen recommended to me, I will add that I noticed a few things. The internet connection and speed is not constant, sometimes there is no internet although the icon shows full range, sometimes the internet slows down and after a few minutes it speeds up, it is clearly seen on YouTube videos, where the quality automatically changes to 144p, then returns but above 480p I will watch nothing. I also have a problem with Google Chrome, because sometimes it stutters, it doesn't respond to clicking on the entire screen except the system bar. After a few seconds, the message "program has stopped working" appears. Then I go straight to Mozille, and there I can not load a single page, which is communicated with the text "no network connection" although the wifi icon says otherwise. I would add that during this time no device in the house uses the internet. I deleted all remembered networks but it was only the one I used. I do not know how exactly I should give the network diagram, so I will simply say how it looks at my house: the router of the model given in the first post connected to the internet cable, with this router we connect all devices wirelessly via wifi, with this router via a lan cable is connected TV and there is also a printer and home cinema for wifi.

It is strange, however, that in all devices the Internet works normally, as always. Only in my laptop something breaks, even if the format did not give any results.

Looks like damage to the network adapter or antenna. Without measurements and diagnostics, this is only a divination on my part.

Start the computer in safe mode + network support, does it change anything?

In safe mode with networking, I can't connect to wi-fi, there is a "network cable is disconnected" icon.

I checked the laptop in the room where the router is located and did not notice the difference. Can someone send a link to some diagnostic program on windows 10 then I will do the test and post a report.

I connected directly to the ethernet cable, because the only free cable with which I could connect the computer with the router is in the wall and leads to the TV. I did WPS / reset on the router, and it looks like it has improved. See for days how it will work. Do you have any other tips on improving the connection and signal quality? On the testmy.net cable, the result is over 14Mbps and on WiFi ~ 4.5Mbps. Of course, I'm not surprised by this result, but maybe the router is of poor sort. What do you think

I downloaded inSSIDer Home (http://www.instalki.pl/programy/download/Windows/sieciowe/inSSIDer.html) and made it in accordance with the instructions. On the auto router setting in channel selection, the link score was about 46 in the room where he works, in the salon where the router is located increased by 3 points. When I changed the channel for example to 1 or 6, the link score was 98 in the living room and in room 95. In both cases, the signal in the living room was around -40dbm and in the room around -56dbm. If I did something incorrect, please feel free to write, because I have to deal with such things for the first time. It detects 3 other wi-fi networks with ~ -98dbm signal in the environment.

    In tplink
    - set the WIFI channel to 1
    - change the width of the WIFI channel to 20Mhz

Well, it looks like it has improved. Thank you. In that case, I'm closing the topic.
