Computer Not Detecting USB Devices (Xg-760n Adapter & Smartphone) in Windows 7: Possible Solutions

Question

Hello, I am connecting to the computer adapter (this is what I call it?) Xg-760n but the computer can not see it, the same in the case of smartphone and tethering option (in fact, the computer does not notice that I connect the phone at all). Yesterday, everything was OK.
I admit that I am green in these themes and I do not know if I need to install any drivers? Maybe it's a virus (although I recently downloaded nothing)

xg-760n there is probably a diode any? Lights when inserted into the USB port? Do you have any 100% pendrive for checking the USB port or is it physically damaged?

No dedicated drivers or software to operate the given hardware (there may be a driver). Detecting and installing hardware you have active and Windows alone has to do it by looking for drivers?

If it does not go, download UVCView and connect - check if it shows something.
