    Hello

After signing a new contract with T-Mobile with a new and fairly good offer with LTE internet (Actually, no limit) I have a very big problem with ping in games like CS: GO or LoL and sometimes it jumps to + 500ms, so playability is impossible. At speed speed, the speed is around 20.00Mbps downloading and sending and ping is 46. When pinging via cmd wp.pl ping also jump from 50 to 150 sometimes. The computer is connected to the modem / router via rj-tke, so it should work reliably. The range on the modem is about 3-4 lines.
The distance of my home to the nearest BTS station is 0.7km, so you can count as 1km (sorry if it's not so-called but I mean the transmitter found on BTSearch). Search settings for LTE at band 1800. The modem I got from T-Mobile along with the offer is Huawei B525s.

Is there any possibility of reducing the ping? Buying an antenna or other modem? Thanks in advance for your help

    Hello!

And do the above-mentioned problems intensify during the rush hour (17-22)?

Rather, the hour does not matter, then it is fixed around 150-200 so the game is impossible :|

Check the router you have available 3G / LTE bandwidth and try to force a specific bandwidth on the router and check how it behaves.

I'm afraid you will not deal much with these bands because in Jaroslaw, T-Mobile uses only LTE1800Networks, LTE800 and LTE2600 T-Mobile are rather permits, but you have to check. What is the street in Jarosław and which is the BTS within 700m? A B525 works with the application on Android http://www.mediafire.com/file/99t05l2dv6vany8/Huawei_Manager_1.1_PL.apk you install it on the phone which you connect to WiFi with B525, you log in to the address 192.168.8.1 and you can force bandwidth LTE, you check LTE1800, LTE800 and LTE2600. The application shows CID BTS and signal parameters. On each of you do speedtest and ping, you can also check for games. You are also checking aggregations of two LTE bands, ie LTE2600 + 1800, LTE2600 + 800 and LTE1800 + 800. it is also worth checking how to ping on 3G from UMTS2100HSPA + DC T-Mobile, it is on several BTSs. Sometimes it works better than overloaded LTE180NetWorks. The B525 also works with LTEwatchH on Windows http://www.lte-anbieter.info/ltewatch/count_huawei.php?Datei=ltewatch_h

Only LTE1800NetWorks on this BTS. But maybe there are other bands on Przemysłowa 2, there are permits. Do the mentioned tests and show the results.

LTE1800 NetWorks from Elektrownia. Signal parameters sufficient, low SINR or BTS overloaded as confirmed by UL> DL. Display B525 out the window and repeat the test. The same after forcing LTE800 and LTE2600, check if these bands work. It's not good at 1 am at such speeds.

Hi. I do not know if you've solved the problem, but in my case the router itself was the culprit. Despite the speed of 90dl / 60ul, the ping was extremely unsatisfying. After transferring the card to the old b593s-22, the ping dropped three times. Although the performance of the internet has also dropped to 25/8, but it may be a matter of the fact that the router is already 5 years old and has been in constant use. I have no idea why this is happening.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user experiencing high ping issues while gaming on T-Mobile's LTE network using a Huawei B525s modem. Despite having a decent download speed of around 20.00 Mbps and a ping of 46 ms, the user reports ping spikes reaching over 500 ms, making games like CS:GO and LoL unplayable. The user lives approximately 1 km from the nearest BTS station and is utilizing LTE1800 band settings. Responses suggest checking the modem's bandwidth settings, using applications to force specific LTE bands, and testing other bands like LTE800 and LTE2600. One user shared that switching to an older router (B593s-22) significantly improved their ping despite lower overall speeds, indicating that the modem's performance may be a contributing factor to the high latency.
