    Hello.
My HDD is dying, so it would be appropriate to buy a disk. I would like it to be a 256gb ssd if it is possible and the processor is not too old.

    Parameters of my laptop:
    Intel core i3-M350 2x2.27ghz
    3gb Ram
    Intel Integrated Graphics.
    Windows 7 64bits.
The laptop is 7 years old but in perfect condition. Systematically cleans it, I apply the paste. NEVER happened to him.

I found a disk like this:
    http://allegro.pl/ssd-goodram-cx300-240gb-sata-iii-2-5-555-540-i6876107626.html

The question is, will I be able to put it in the same place as the old disk? Or maybe you will have to buy a pocket and mount it where the CD / DVD drive is? I don't use it anyway and it probably doesn't even work anymore.
Adds a picture of the current disk.
Thank you in advance for your help.
    greetings

    Hi.
The processor is not too old, and the board supports SATA - admittedly only of the second generation, but you will feel a significant acceleration after purchasing such a disk.

The CX300 is just a very weak drive, if it has to be cheap, you can try GoodRAM IRDM 240GB (although I haven't found its exact tests yet, but based on the specifications it will still be better than the CX300).

With the code "DELIVERY" you will get free shipping ;)

The more expensive, proven and repeatedly recommended older model GoodRAM Iridium PRO (PLN 360-370) is on a slightly different controller, other memories and has a 5-year warranty (the cheaper one is 3 years).

You put the disk in place of the old disk, screwing it in the same way and with the same screws as the original, everything will fit.

    Thanks for the answer.
As for the price of the disk, I would like to stay within PLN 400.
Is the more expensive disk you wrote about this one? https://www.sferis.pl/dysk-ssd-240gb-goodram-...ium-pro-ssdpr-iridpro-240-25-sata-iii-p371060
If so, I am going to buy it because it is there for 370 ~~

Yes, it's this one. A good and proven drive with a five-year warranty. If it is in place, you can buy it, if you want, it is a little cheaper, OleOle has it for 363 with free delivery: https://www.oleole.pl/dyski-wewnetrzne-ssd/goodram-iridium-pro-240gb.bhtml

All in all, this drive has a good chance of surviving this laptop, but it will always be able to be moved to some other equipment, so a long warranty will definitely not hurt :)
