    Hello gentlemen

The problem concerns the lack of 4G / LTE connection on the above-mentioned router (PLUS, usim card)

The predecessor of Huawei E3372 connects to the same place without any problems in LTE (without any antennas, range about 60%, download several dozen mb). (LTE bts in the vicinity of about 1km).

On the purchased Huawei B593-s22 with original antennas (unbranded, fv version V200R001B270D10SP00C00) the internet works only in 2G / 3G mode (download about 7mb). I changed to fv V200R001B236D30DM09C11, but the problem is still the same (the error is displayed here: Connection failed with error code 3254). Settings as in the previous modem: apn: internet.cp, aut: chap, PDP type: IPv4, roaming: enabled.

    What could be the reason?
    Thank you for the reply.

It maybe broken, and that's why someone sold it. And the seller does not give any warranty? Everything OK in the configuration? There should be some way to enable LTE. I don't know this model. I used to have it, but I don't remember ...

well, even when I force LTE, the error still occurs, okey settings, the previous modem also works on these. The seller claims that LTE worked for him

Plus card? So why internet.cp APN? Buying the B593 even the s-22 as a successor to the E3372 is a poor choice, even for Plus. How much did you give for him?

you made me :) to remove the card from the phone in the PLAY network, the router turns on LTE, so the fault is on the side of the operator plus, just why; /

APN for Plus internet tariffs is internet APN internet.cp for Cyfrowy Polsat. Failed purchase, for PLN 200-250 you can have B315s-22 and for PLN 300 you can have B525 or E5186 with LTE-A. The B593s-22 is a router from 4 years ago.

I have uploaded V200R001B236D30DM09C11, and I want the previous V200R001B270D10SP00C00.
Will I find a version from huawei under b593 and not under b3000?

Topic summary

✨ The discussion revolves around a user experiencing a lack of 4G/LTE connectivity with the Huawei B593-s22 router while using a PLUS SIM card, despite a Huawei E3372 modem functioning correctly in the same location. The user reports an error code 3254 and mentions that the router only connects in 2G/3G mode. Various suggestions are made, including checking the condition of the router, trying a different SIM card, and verifying APN settings. The user discovers that the router activates LTE when using a different network's SIM card, indicating a potential issue with the PLUS operator. Ultimately, the user decides to return the router and seek a more suitable model, considering alternatives like the B315s-22 and B525. Firmware downgrading inquiries are also addressed, with links provided for obtaining the desired firmware version.

FAQ

TL;DR: Fix B593‑s22 LTE by correcting APN, testing another SIM, and, if needed, reverting firmware. Concrete stat: B315s‑22 costs PLN 200–250. “APN for Plus internet tariffs is internet.” [Elektroda, matek451, post #16926788]

Why it matters: This FAQ helps Huawei B593‑s22 owners resolve LTE loss and error 3254 versus a working E3372 setup.

Quick Facts

Why does my Huawei B593‑s22 show error code 3254 when I force LTE?

The router attempted LTE attach but failed, returning error 3254. In the case discussed, forcing LTE still errored until APN and operator factors were addressed. Incorrect APN or operator restrictions can trigger this code when the modem rejects attach. Test with the correct APN and try another operator’s SIM to isolate the cause. [Elektroda, superdar, post #16926635]

Which APN should I use for Plus vs. Cyfrowy Polsat?

Use APN “internet” for Plus internet tariffs. Use “internet.cp” for Cyfrowy Polsat. Misusing “internet.cp” on a Plus SIM can block LTE attach. As one expert notes, “APN for Plus internet tariffs is internet.” Update your profile accordingly and reconnect. [Elektroda, matek451, post #16926788]

How do I fix no‑LTE on a B593‑s22 using a Plus USIM?

First, change the APN from “internet.cp” to “internet.” Save and reconnect. If LTE still fails, reboot the router and re‑register to the network. Finally, compare with another device or SIM to confirm service eligibility. This corrected the mismatch that blocked LTE in the thread. [Elektroda, matek451, post #16926788]

How can I tell if the issue is my operator or my router?

Swap in another operator’s SIM. In the thread, a PLAY SIM allowed immediate LTE on the same B593‑s22, proving the hardware worked. That pointed to Plus‑side provisioning or APN policy as the cause. If another SIM gives LTE, contact your operator about your plan or SIM. [Elektroda, superdar, post #16926729]

Is the B593‑s22 a good upgrade over an E3372?

No. A contributor recommends newer LTE/LTE‑A routers instead. Prices cited: B315s‑22 for PLN 200–250 and B525/E5186 for about PLN 300. The B593‑s22 was already four years old then, making it a poor successor to the E3372. Consider a newer model for better LTE stability and aggregation. [Elektroda, matek451, post #16926788]

Can I downgrade or change firmware on the B593‑s22?

Yes. In this case, the user reverted to V200R001B270D10SP00C00 and confirmed success. Reverting helped standardize behavior after issues with another firmware build. Always keep a stable image and follow the flashing guide carefully to avoid bricking. [Elektroda, superdar, post #16927608]

What firmware versions were mentioned for the B593‑s22 here?

Two builds were discussed: V200R001B236D30DM09C11 and V200R001B270D10SP00C00. The user had installed the former and wanted to return to the latter. Tracking versions helps when reproducing LTE attach issues and error codes. [Elektroda, superdar, post #16927518]

Could a used B593‑s22 just be defective?

Yes. A participant suggested the unit might be broken, which explains a sale without warranty. Used hardware carries risk. If correct APN and a known‑good SIM still fail, consider hardware faults. Request returns or test with another router to confirm. [Elektroda, jprzedworski, post #16926627]

Why does my E3372 get LTE while the B593‑s22 is stuck on 3G?

Configuration differences matter. Using “internet.cp” on a Plus SIM can block LTE while an E3372 with proper settings connects. Align the B593‑s22 APN with Plus (“internet”), then retry LTE. Newer routers also handle networks better than the B593 generation. [Elektroda, matek451, post #16926788]

What exact settings failed on the B593‑s22 before the fix?

The failing profile used APN “internet.cp,” authentication CHAP, PDP type IPv4, and roaming enabled. With those settings, LTE attach failed with error 3254 and the router fell back to 3G. Correcting the APN resolved the mismatch. [Elektroda, superdar, post #16926571]

What’s a fast 3‑step checklist to recover LTE on B593‑s22?

  1. Set APN to “internet” for Plus; save and reboot.
  2. Force LTE, then auto mode; re‑register the network.
  3. If still failing, test a different SIM and consider a newer router. “APN for Plus internet tariffs is internet.” [Elektroda, matek451, post #16926788]

Where can I read more guides for this model?

The thread links to additional B593 resources and walkthroughs. Review those posts for firmware and configuration guidance before flashing. They provide context for safe updates and troubleshooting steps tailored to this series. [Elektroda, matek451, post #16926880]
