    Hello
I created an XML file in the Zuzia 10 costing program.
I opened it in Excel 10 and wanted to save it as "XML Data" - unfortunately I got the message:
"Unable to export or save XML data. XML maps in this workbook are not exportable."

When I verified the map for export, I got a message saying that it is impossible to export due to "unnormalized data" and "the relationship of the mapped element with other elements cannot be maintained".

Is there any way to export this file (with mapping) anyway?
Or maybe something needs to be changed in the code itself?

    Initial assumptions for costing:

    1) Investor cost estimates were developed based on the Regulations of the Minister of Infrastructure:
    - of September 2, 2004 on the detailed scope and form of design documentation, technical specifications for the execution and acceptance of construction works as well as the functional and operational program,
    - of May 18, 2004 on the determination of methods and bases for the preparation of the investor's cost estimate, calculation of the planned costs of design works and planned costs of construction works specified in the functional and operational program.

    2) Price indices were adopted based on the publishing house SEKOCENBUD & quot; Q4 2017 (average rates for engineering works):
the labor rate R = 17.31 PLN / hour. (average rate for the Wielkopolskie voivodeship),
    indirect costs (Kp) 63.4% from (R + S),
    profit (Z) 10.3% from (R + S + Kp),
material prices (including purchase costs included in the amount of 7.5%),
    machine-hour rates for equipment operation.

    3) Notes:

VAT is not included in the cost estimate of the works.

What was the purpose of this operation with XML? Changes to the file in the absence of "Zuzia"?

It is quite common in IT tools that they can accept certain data formats, but not really create them. For example, XML is a hierarchical system, a tree, and Excella's philosophy is focused on columns - rows.

I would suggest a different XML tool, depending on question # 1.

The purpose of the operation is to "process" the base file in Excel with a greater number of the most frequently used cost estimate items, then save this file (after the changes made) just as XML data and open it in Zuzia.
"Machining" would mainly be to remove redundant items and keep those needed.
And that is why I would like to do it in Excel, because Excel provides many possibilities and tools for such fast "processing" (filtering, sorting, functions, copying, deleting, many processes can also be automated using macros). Unfortunately, Zuzia is very poor in this respect.
