    Hi,
I searched the forum and did not find the answer to my question so I am starting a new topic. I would like to connect my computer to a TV (32 inch LCD Toshiba model 32W1333DG) and the graphics card is Palit Geforce GTX 480. I am trying to send a signal via HDMI cable. The card has no such output, so I bought two adapters: miniHDMI -> HMI and DVI-> HDMI. After connecting through both variants, nothing happens (I have a lift of 10 and after pressing win + p I take duplicate and on TV I have shown no signal). I started to rule out failures in turn: I connected to another TV (23 "LCD Samsung) and here wow, it works. Well, I suspect TV and broken HDMI, but I connected from a laptop that has HDMI to Toshiba TV and ... works too. I connected the phone to the TV via OTG and I also have a picture from the phone to the TV. So (theoretically):
    - Toshiba TV has working HDMI inputs (from laptop win 10) and the phone has a picture)
    - the graphics card has a working miniHDMI and DVI output (in both cases an image appeared on Samsung LCD TV)

so what could happen? I thought about the resolution and refresh (with duplicate screens), but after connecting the Toshiba TV to the computer in the device manager, it does not see a second "monitor" at all, so there is no way to set other resolutions for this TV ...

    Any ideas?

If anything has passed through DVI (does not transfer sound), you will not hear anything.

I do not understand. I miss the picture, not the sound.

Sorry, I didn't read it thoroughly.

Have you installed the original drivers?

You should have settings for several monitors in the Nvidia panel (software).

This is to buy a DVI-HDMI cable and it should help.
Not every TV, because not every model reacts the same and one manages with so many adapters, the other does not.

    Hi,
so I installed the drivers from the manufacturer's website and then the same (windows cannot detect TV). I can buy a DVI cable -> HDMI, but the problem is that I need about 10 meters (I haven't found one yet). Besides, what is the guarantee that it will work? Maybe something else can be tried?

Above 7m no one can guarantee that anything will work.
And at 7m and so only on HDMI certified cables.

Ok ... So BTW, how will it sound with DVI-D? Will he be able to send him to TV? Is it better to buy a miniHDMi cable -> HDMI?

You should have fewer problems with such a cable.

Hello, Did you solve this problem? I have it since April or May 2018. after one of the graphics card or Windows 10 updates. I did everything: I changed the HDMI cables, changed the ports on the TV, restored my mouth. factory TV, I also bought a new cable, I made a new clean installation of windows 10 and nothing. The graphics card updates itself via Nvidia Experience. No new screens were found in the Screen Settings, the Nvidia Control Panel (GTX780) also cannot see another monitor. I would add that everything worked smoothly for several good years. Samsung Smart TV acted as a second monitor and I switched screens in screen settings without a problem.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting a Palit Geforce GTX 480 graphics card to a Toshiba 32W1333DG TV via HDMI, encountering a "no signal" issue. The user attempted to use miniHDMI to HDMI and DVI to HDMI adapters but received no output on the TV, despite confirming that the TV's HDMI inputs function correctly with other devices. Suggestions included ensuring the latest drivers are installed, using a DVI-HDMI cable instead of adapters, and noting that HDMI cables longer than 7 meters may not work reliably. The user expressed concerns about the effectiveness of a long DVI-HDMI cable and inquired about the sound capabilities of DVI-D connections.
