Hello. Today I was a fitter and installed TV Vectre with a basic decoder. The problem is that when connecting via HDMI tv shows HDCP error. Previously, I had a problem with the console, PS3 where there was also a display problem. Is there an adapter cable to avoid this? I'm not interested in buying a new TV. In the picture of the set-top box, I have VGA, COMPONENT and both HDMI on the TV.
So I checked everything if possible, the console through reset should display the image in a lower resolution, despite it does not display anything. One decoder shows a blue background, the other at the fitter just showed an HDCP error. As I wrote above, the laptop works ok on 2 HDMI sockets.
Unfortunately, none of these brings the desired effect.
Well, there will be no solution here - except for buying a new tv or switching to a regular EURO. TV supports the old version of HDCP protection (protocol) and you can not change anything, because this hardware conditioning and the decoder probably has a newer version.
