Recently, I received a new digital cable television decoder - ARRIS HMC 4120 (supposedly mega - as the installer described it) and I have some reservations about its functioning, namely:
1. I have created a list of favorite channels in the order that suits me - but I can not confirm it in any way, as a result the default operator list that we get from the box is active. In the instructions attached to the decoder, where the method of creating your own program lists is presented, the procedure ends with a command in the EPG [change list], and then there is nothing. After pressing OK, the MENU crashes to the beginning and nothing changes.
2. When watching HD programs, artifacts and glitch effects regularly appear. The image is set to 1080i. I do not know if the fault is on the side of the decoder, TV (Samsung LE32C450), HDMI cable or antenna.
3. The decoder starts up very slowly. The manual does not specify if and how it can be changed. This ailment is the least annoying. The first two are more pissed me off .....
Previously, I had Technisat Digit MF-4 although the image in SD never cut, it was easy to set your list and it would start quickly. I had to replace it because I lost the ability to watch 1/3 of paid programs, but I did not think that I would get such a ...
