    Hello
My problem is that I have only 2 antenna cables in the room where I would like to be able to fully use two set-top boxes, i.e. NC + and Cyfrowy Polsat. Both decoders with recording function, and from what I have learned, if I connect one antenna cable to these decoders, then in this case I will have limited opportunities to watch TV while recording.
I would like to achieve such an effect to be able to simultaneously watch and record programs on each of the set-top boxes.
Please advise what I need to buy, because there is no option to pull up 2 additional antenna cables.
Thanks in advance for the hints.

    What exactly are the decoders?

SCR (Unicable) converter. You split the signal under the converter with a sat splitter into 2 cables. One is plugged into the LNB1 socket of the HD7000, and the second one is separated again by the ncp-4740SF into two LNB inputs. The decoders require configuration for Single Cable Mode.

Thank you very much for your answer. One more question came to my mind after reading the comment under the video. Will it work if I have nc + multiroom? Of course, the multiroom itself stays as it is and nc + will only be in given rooms, but does the fact that I have a multiroom prevent the signal from being split in the living room?

How many additional decoders do you have?
In case of SCR + Twin converter , PVR decoders are connected to the SCR output, and to the other two universal outputs - with additional cables - you can connect two decoders without unicable support. It is irrelevant for multiroom operation.

I have quite a lot, because 5 multiroom nc + decoders and the above. main and one digital polysat, i.e. a total of 7 decoders

Maybe this is how you would describe your installation? What decoders? What is the point of polsat and nc + in one place, both 2 cables? How many channels do you record simultaneously?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the challenge of utilizing two set-top boxes, NC+ and Cyfrowy Polsat, with only two antenna cables available. Users seek solutions to enable simultaneous viewing and recording on both devices. Recommendations include using an SCR (Unicable) converter to split the signal into two cables, allowing each decoder to function independently. Configuration for Single Cable Mode is necessary for both decoders. Concerns about compatibility with multiroom setups and the number of decoders in use are also addressed, with suggestions for multiswitch installations for more complex configurations.
