I have a Drutex double balcony door bought and installed 6 years ago and I have a few problems with them. The door is constructed in such a way that the left sash only opens and the right sash normally opens and tilts. I have two problems with this door, namely their right wing, i.e. the one with the tilting function. When the door is closed, the handle is in the down position. When I want to open it, I turn the handle to a horizontal position and I can open it, but when opening it also does not hold the bolt which is responsible for the tilting function and at this moment the door opens in two planes at once.
Here I recorded a video what it looks like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NJhWsL13Hc&feature=youtu.be

Once upon a time there was a friend who was sitting on the subject and looked at this fault and told me to buy the part which is in the picture below. I bought this part but until today, due to the lack of access to some specialist, I have not mentioned it. Do you think the above mentioned fault is caused by a damaged part that can be seen in the pictures below?

The second problem with this right wing is the under-pressure upper part of the door to the door frame. When I close the door, the bolt located on the horizontal upper edge should block the door, and after closing the door handle, the door clearly protrudes from the door frame, mainly the upper part of the door, the one closer to the center. Yesterday, when there was a strong west wind, its force was pushing the door inside, of course, there was a lot of leakage. You can see that after closing the handle the upper bolt does not block the door and they do not press against the door frame. Maybe someone had similar problems and knows how to deal with them?

To begin with, raise the right wing on the bottom hinge - under the cover is the entrance to the key from above. During adjustment the sash should be tilted.

In-laws have similar balcony doors and windows (hinged with a micro gap), they are probably 20 years old. Sometimes there is a similar situation when opening, as in the film both with the door and with windows, then there is a problem with closing them again, because the top sticks out. You have to maneuver a little so that the upper hinge moves into the right position and then you can only close it. That this would not happen, the in-laws help their regulation - I did not have to change anything yet. I don't know if it will help my friend.
The reason is the right wing not being closed and then the left wing takes the wrong position when closing. This can be checked when closing and opening the left wing when the right wing is open, or if this problem occurs.
Just like a friend balonika3 he advised you to start with the correct setting of the right door leaf.

The mechanism will work well if the red catch 1 and the black catch 2 (bottom) are in the corresponding grooves 1 and 2 (top) it is the door (or window) position open (handle horizontal). If these catches are pulled out of the grooves, this is the "door ajar" position (handle in the up position). The movement of the handle moves these latches.

Thanks for the advice but today I have a bigger problem with single balcony doors also from Drutex (without the tilting function). The point is that the handle does not bolt the door to the end, this mechanism into which the handle pin enters rotates around. 90% of these latches, cloves have formed in this mechanism. I unscrewed the entire espagnolette and you will probably need to look for a new one and now I have a few questions.

    1. Is the part where the door handle enters marked in the photo below the yellow arrow replaceable or do you need to buy the whole complete espagnolette?
    2. Where can you buy such a MACO espagnolette and is it profitable at all (new doors cost around PLN 500)

Unfortunately, you can only contact the Drutex company giving the exact door type or have such fittings (this element). From another company this element may not fit alone, but you can replace the entire door fitting.

I found here for PLN 131 the entire MACO espagnolette with the same symbols that are engraved on my damaged espagnolette https://okucia24.com/maco-zasuwnica-stala-wysokosc-klamki,id43.html
One more thing, maybe someone knows if in the MACO espagnolette you can replace the cassette itself, because there are several offers on the Internet so-called repair cartridges such as in the pictures below. The repair cartridge is more than half cheaper than the entire espagnolette, but is it replaceable in the MACO system?

If the cassette halves are applied from both sides and riveted, this is a simple matter. It is worse if it is pressed into the espagnolette, because it often happens. Here it looks like the first solution.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues with Drutex double balcony doors, specifically the right sash that opens and tilts simultaneously. The user reports that the handle does not properly engage the tilting function, causing the door to open in two planes. Suggestions include adjusting the bottom hinge of the right wing and ensuring that the mechanism's catches are correctly positioned. Additionally, the user faces a separate issue with a single Drutex balcony door where the handle mechanism is malfunctioning, leading to the need for a replacement espagnolette. Recommendations include contacting Drutex for specific parts and considering repair cartridges for the espagnolette as a cost-effective solution.
