    Hey
    Patient Audi A6 C6
Listen, I have a riddle. I have for some 3-4 months Led bulbs with a canbus rail in the back plate
    And strange things are happening.
Because after igniting the car they shine a few minutes. Then the left one flashes and goes out. Then the law flashes and also goes out.

I undressed the whole backlight and how I connected it, for example under 9v batteries, it was solid. I put back in my pocket and it happens again. Any idea, maybe what can it be?
I will add that in the whole car I have led and this is only happening at registration

Plug in under 15V and see if they overheat and go out.
In a car installation, voltage of exactly 12V is rare

That's not us. And I will not pay PLN 80 for something I do not need because the problem may be a picus. And if 2 light bulbs go out, I get an error from burnt light bulbs

    well, not bad
how is the canbus bus what problem to connect a computer and read errors? :spoko:

It's just as if he wanted to do diagnostics in the C-360 ursus ;)
And just seriously replace it with ordinary ones and check if they will also turn off.

Of course, this is a problem with diagnosis after CAN. The bus detects low power consumption, so it switches off the backlight with the message about a blown bulb.
You have to insert an extra resistance under the led and it will work.
I added a 5W bulb near the comfort module (it is in the trunk on the right side) - LEDs shine like gold ;)

What's the dream? If an additional bulb must be anyway.

The point is that it does not burn the error of a burnt light bulb, and the backlighting of the board is LED - in this case only the visual effect counts.

It can always be fun to turn off the diagnosis of lamps, the system will not check the power consumption, so it will not signal a blown bulb, and thus will not turn off the voltage on the backlight.

I found many questions regarding the illumination of the array lighting in this model, and I would like to prompt you that there is no fuse in this model from 2007.
The lighting of the board is controlled solely by the computer, do not check if the current is present or not, nor should you install other led bulbs, because the computer may notice an error and cut off voltage.
I will also mention that each bulb replacement should be done with the lights and ignition off.
After installing the bulbs, and assembling the lighting, we turn the ignition switch and the computer will record the correct installation of the bulbs, and unlock the voltage to the bulbs.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around an issue with LED bulbs installed in the license plate lights of an Audi A6 C6. The user reports that the bulbs initially illuminate but then flash and turn off after a few minutes. Various responses suggest potential causes and solutions, including checking for overheating at higher voltages, the need for additional resistance to prevent the CAN bus from detecting low power consumption, and ensuring proper installation procedures to avoid errors. It is noted that the vehicle's computer controls the lighting and may cut off voltage if it detects issues. Recommendations include using standard bulbs for testing and ensuring that installations are done with the ignition off to avoid errors.
