    Hello.
I have a problem with the 4t scooter.
Barton 4t scooter 139QMB engine from the vent at the valve cover, smoke and strange white and yellow goo ...
The engine was overhauled, a new 80cc cylinder was installed, a piston with rings, a complete cylinder head.
I will add that the oil is losing a bit but the muffler does not smoke.
I also noticed that when changing the oil, a strange gray oil flows out of the engine ... kind of weighed. Motul 4t 10W40 oil is poured.
The problem arose immediately after the engine was overhauled.
What could be causing the smoke, this strange goo, and the loss of oil?

But on the other hand, if the emphysema was clogged, no smoke would fly through it ...

In my opinion, check the pressure in the cylinder and the timing ("book" of course). Be careful with the oil level when changing the oil, as too high is also harmful to the operation of the engine.
Check that the valves are tight (maybe they are crooked after the collision with the piston), but this should be revealed during the pressure test.

The valves are tight, when installing a new head, the tightness was checked because, like most new heads, the valves have not been lapped in and they let go a little ...
The timing was well positioned according to the signs, so there was no piston-valves collision.
Compression pressure 11 bar so good too.
    Anyone have any ideas?

    Approx. It's all clear ...

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues experienced with a Barton 4t scooter equipped with a 139QMB engine following an overhaul. The user reports unusual smoke and a yellow goo emanating from the valve cover vent, alongside oil loss and the presence of gray, viscous oil during changes. Responses suggest checking for clogged ventilation, cylinder pressure, timing, and valve tightness. The possibility of normal oil-water emulsion due to moisture condensation is also mentioned, indicating that the engine may not be overheating.
