[Solved] Volkswagen - 1.9 diesel engine shakes, unit injector error ??

    Hi . Whether it's at low speed or high, it breaks it off. The fuel is there, the filter is new, the fuel lines are a bit old? As if fuel is leaking out?
    For the first time in my life, I did a test:
    VCDS-Lite Version: Release 1.2 - unfortunately not the full version.
    And I don't know if I'm doing it right ??
    It showed:
    5 Faults Found:
    17571 - Fuel Temp Sensor (G81): Open or Short to Plus
    P1163 - 35-00 - Fuel temperature sensor
    16705 - Shareware Version. It's Decode all DTCs
    P0321 - 35-00 - Engine speed sensor
    18075 - Shareware Version. It's Decode all DTCs
    P1667 - 35-10 - Pump valve - Jet: Cylinder 2
    16686 - Cylinder 2: Misfire Detected
    P0302 - 35-10 - Cylinder misfire detected
    17978 - Shareware Version. It's Decode all DTCs
    P1570 - 35-00 - Engine Start Blocked by Immobilizer
    After deleting and restarting, the only error left was:
    18075
    and then downloaded the logs

    First, remove the valve cover and squeeze the plugs at the unit injectors. Sometimes using the full version of the diagnostic hardware can save a lot of money.

    It says you have hardware in demo, which is without a lot of features. If you don't feel up to it, put it in the workshop.

    Full version 18075 / P1667 - Valve for Pump - Jet: Cylinder 2 (N241): Electrical Malfunction
    i.e. cables, unit injector coil, engine controller (most often what I wrote in previous posts)


    For educational purposes:

    Measured value block 023 (correction of the time torque of the electric unit injector control)

    average value . set point -100 ... +100 ms (for AZV even 150 ms). However, if the motor is working incorrectly, values outside the range of -60 ... +60 ms can be a symptom of a fault.

    - If the value of . the correction is close to the lower limit (and amounts to eg: -75), then it may be suspected . a problem with fuel supply. In this case, check . the entire power system according to the "Repair Manual".

    - If the value . is close to the upper limit (eg: +75), this indicates a jamming of the unit injector or poor fuel quality. After confirming the correct fuel supply, replace only the unit injector for which the read value is too high. The remaining unit injectors must not be changed.

    Measured value block 018
    -should be the status of pump injectors. 0 - it is OK, but any other number means damage to the unit injector, break in the continuity of the circuit, lack of fuel, air in the fuel system.

    Measured value block 013
    -4th gear - accelerate from very low revs to max gas, you can view the pumps up to 1600 rpm the one that suddenly increases the deviation in plus sucks,

    The pressure on the tandem pump is to be at least 3.5 bar at 1500 rpm.

    And I have the same 14, so the damage is probably, as you advised, el terminals. under the cover.

    Group 023 means unit injection response time to electrical impulse. Negative values may indicate a failure of the fuel system, it is worth checking the fuel filter and fuel supply system. Push-ups response delays for 1.9tdi should be in the range and for 2.0tdi .

    There were 2 'mechanics' with 4 computers and no errors :( and 5 errors on my cable and laptop :) .. I have to be hard on my own. On the 5-pin socket (at the head), one circuit strangely showed not 0.6 ? but 17 ? and sometimes 1300 ?. So I took off the cover and the stiff wires. How to pull out the connectors to bend them?
    About 0.5 to 0.7 ? on unit injectors

    1) Do you have an adapter, clean? Efficient? If the installation works, you may have a problem with the driver.
    2) What you see in group 023 is also dependent on shaft wear and unit injection adjustment
    3) The operating temperature may influence the electrical fault of the injector itself.

    Is the VAG cylinder description the same as the cylinder duty cycle: 1 3 4 2 - from the timing?
    I pressed the connectors with a skewer, but it's best to buy new ones and solder.
    Works beautifully when folded. Another error popped up. You have to go for a ride.
    My theory of the wheel was unbalanced, the car drove on rough roads, quite a lot of mileage and that's why the connector on the unit injection was loosened. Thank you for your help.
