Hello, I have a Mini Cooper 1.6 120 horsepower, 2006. the low oil pressure light comes on. We have 4 bars on a cold engine, 0.5 bars on a warm engine. The dragon, oil pan, oil change and installation of the original filter were not cleaned. What should be the correct idle pressure when the engine is warm? I am asking for professional advice. I have a choice to sell a car or repair the engine ..

See what the instructions for this engine say. Only a quarter bar at low speed.

Check the sensor at what pressure the lamp turns on.

The sensor lights up at 0.4

    Added after 3 [minutes]:

After 5 months the oil filter was very screwed on. Now I have the original one and the pressure only increased by 0.2.

Hello problem solved by 3rd mechanic.
The problem was a scratched oil pump. After replacement, the pressure increased to 2.5 bar.
I write because maybe someone will need such information.
