Hello, I would like to ask what switch I can solder here, because I do not want my friend to explode the pipe when vaping. Thank you for your help.

Edit: I will add that the output power is 20 A.

A simple little switch is enough. In this Dragon there is electronics that switch high current through a MOSFET transistor key.

So nothing will explode, nothing to worry about? 4-pin switch is indifferent and is it to rock? I searched for a schematic for it, but found nothing, and I don't have time to sit for a few hours to find the schematic. But if someone had and would be willing to send, it will definitely be useful for the future.

Little chance of finding a schematic. The original has a regular switch mounted just like in other structures of this type. The only requirement is to find one that will fit mechanically, because there is often little space to install a switch that is too large.

@ goldi74 The colleague forgot about the current regulation, or rather its stabilization by the PWM system (on MOSFET)? You will be "blessed" by Vaporowicz :D for the daily replacement of heaters.

If someone read this and had such a diagram, or in general diagrams for any other electricians, I would ask, because I have some dead bodies. I do not worry about the switch, because it seems to me that it is similar to the switch from se k300i, if it fits, I will let you know. Regards and thanks for the answer.

    Can you expand a little?

There is no PWM to regulate the power in the Stick V8, so there is nothing to forget about. And even if it was PWM, what does it have to do with the switch replacement?

Power in A, I think someone made a mistake.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around selecting a suitable switch for the Smoke Stick V8 to handle a 20A output power safely, preventing potential explosions while vaping. Participants suggest that a simple switch is adequate, as the device utilizes a MOSFET transistor for high current switching. Concerns about finding a schematic for the switch are raised, with advice to focus on mechanical compatibility due to space constraints. Clarifications are made regarding the absence of PWM power regulation in the Stick V8, emphasizing that the switch replacement is straightforward. The conversation also touches on the importance of current stabilization and the need for proper component selection.
