    Hello,
I have a request for advice on what router / modem to buy for the Internet in PLAY to obtain LTE band aggregation.
I am currently using the Huawei E3372 modem and this antenna: allegro.pl/oferta/antena-lte-800-mhz-mimo-ts9-crc9-sma-10m-9188143196
    The achieved maximum speeds are DL 15Mb / s, UL 4 Mb / s.
Distance to the transmitter (BRE4421, eNBID: 6728) approx. 5 km, hills, holes and tall trees.
I was considering buying a used Huawei B525s-23a from Plus (?) Perhaps it will be necessary to replace the antenna (?)
What do you propose to get a stable and fast connection to work from home for reasonable money - supposedly "jitter" is important - due to the work "on headphones" ;-)
Thank you in advance for hints and proven solutions ;-)

Working on the handset, VPNs, YouTube, VoIP, cameras, movies, etc. Satisfactory transfers would be 50Gb / s to 20Gb / s and some 150GB / month. As for the costs - well, optimally, not to say the budget - PLN 500 is enough (?)

Hello again, I was finally able to take some measurements recently.
Measurements made using LTEWatch programs on the E3372 modem and HUA CTRL on the B525 router, respectively - devices placed on the mast ~ 2.5 above the roof level at the destination of the antenna installation.
What router and antenna do you recommend (aggregation from 800 is probably not an option ;-) rather 1800 + 2100? From what I checked, B525 should aggregate 1800 + 2600 - but it probably won't play here (?)

    Transfers to the B525:
    - for 2600 - practically zero,
    - for 2100 - DL up to 23 Mb / s, UL 2.5 Mb / s,
    - for 1800 - DL up to 19 Mb / s, UL 1.7 Mb / s,
    - for 800 - DL up to 9 Mb / s, UL 7 Mb / s.

B525 to Play in this location is not suitable LTE2100 / LTE1800 / LTE800 from Kolacin signal on the first two weak and on LTE800 sufficient, LTE2600 from Stryków-Brzezińska 41 and from Brzezin-chimney PEC and here it is weak, but you can even fight for the aggregation of 3 capacitive bands LTE with PEC.

@ matek451 thank you very much for your answer.

    Then will B818 be a good choice to aggregate LTE2600 / LTE2100 / LTE1800 with PEC?
Or is there anything cheaper with aggregation of these three bands for PLAY?
It is a seasonal solution (plot), so I also pay attention to the costs ...

Please give me a hint what antenna should I use to aggregate these three bands with BTS PEC and possibly make it suitable for use with BTS Kołacin if the solution with BTS PEC does not work.
From what I read on the forum, Cybertech is recommended - Dual Antenna LTE-A / 4G 17dBi MIMO 1800-2600MHz and 2x-ATK-504-Bandwidth-698-2690-MHz - is it the right choice - which will be better for this solution (?)
At DIPOL I have also seen ATK-LOG ALP LTE MIMO or 5G ATK-LOG ALP MIMO (?)
Should it be an x-cross or H / V polarized antenna?

Thank you very much in advance for your answer.
    Regards

    Hello and welcome,

    I'll conquer the topic

I have a similar situation - currently I use the antennas: ATK-LOG ALP LTE 800-3000 and the B593u-12 router for the PLAY card, unfortunately I do not have any Android device to take measurements, the speeds are very low - download 6/7 (max 15) up 2/3.
There are three BTS Playa's in the area and I'm perfectly in the middle of it and it's about 5 km to each.
I only catch the Internet from one (Play ID: RYP0701
GSM1800 LTE1800 LTE800 UMTS900), access to others is blocked by trees and the speed is negligible.
Which router is the best to choose?
I am also thinking about the Play Net box offer, but I already have one subscription to mobile internet and it makes no sense to double the costs.

I will be grateful for your help

Location where you use, what is the mobile subscription. Of course, the router and these antennas can be replaced, the router from the German surplus is worthless and the antennas are weak, especially on LTE capacitive bands. In Play, the LTE800 is not used, because it is a carrion on the 5MHz band, the stations in Rypin are aggregated with 4 LTE bands and the purchase of this set was one big mistake. Netbox is not taken in Play, MF258k has the wrong soft. With the current 100GB promotions for free, you do not take a subscription at all, but only pre-paid.
RYP701 is a 5GR fiber station with 4 CC CA and the latest equipment is used for these, i.e. a router with aggregation of 4 LTE bands and an effective Dual LTE1800-2600MHz directional antenna.

thanks a lot for the answer,

    location: 52.973094, 19.560966 (https://goo.gl/maps/g8EQ6jCazBmvTqcA8)
Router and antennas bought a few years ago, basically blind, so I understand it's time to change.

Internet to Play 400GB in a subscription without equipment for the company.
Thanks for the hint regarding the antenna, but what router should it be connected to?

I mistook BTS, it's RYP0701, so Zamość, the station is not worth any attention because it works on LTE1800 + 800 so only 15MHz on LTE1800 gives a chance for some normal speeds. The nearest station from 4 CC CA 5GR is in Skrwilno. The Blizno station works in aggregation LTE2100 + 1800 + 800. The optimal router is B818 with aggregation of 4 LTE bands, 500-800 l. The minimum is B535 with aggregation of 2 LTE bands. You made a mistake, you had to take B818 in a subscription from Play. ON the B818 / B535 you can do a test by setting these pseudo antennas to SKIRT.

    I order B818 cat19, will the Cybertech LTE 4G antenna Huawei B525 B315 B818 2x17dB 7m LTE1800 and LTE2600 - will it be appropriate?

Yes, just remember about the B818 connectors, if the antenna has cables terminated with SMA connectors, you need 2x SMA-TS9 straight, not angled connector.

Hey, a little update - the kit has arrived

    to Skrwilno (RYP0101
LTE1800 GSM1800 LTE2600) as I aim, I have basically zero signal, so RYP0701 remains - the download has improved significantly - 20-25mbs, while the upload is weaker than before, below 1mb

    RSRQ-5.0dB
    RSRP-106dBm
    RSSI-81dBm
    SINR1dB

is there any possibility to improve the upload?

I'm still thinking about a crazy project - long lan cable, long current, everything to a waterproof box and to a tall tree, then there is a chance to target the RYP0101 LTE1800 GSM1800 LTE2600. Does it make sense or is it a waste of the West?

You do not specify the location of BTS-A Play in Banino because it is known, Borowiecka 3. It is a station with aggregation of 4 LTE bands and it is important in which location you want to use it, what is the Play offer and what the signal parameters from this BTS look like at your place on individual LTE bands, what speeds?

Unfortunately, at home you only have sufficient signal on the slow, long-range LTE800 from BTS Leźno, and very poor signal parameters on LTE1800 / LTE2100 / LTE2600 from this BTS. In addition, in PCI neighbors from another base station and even worse signal parameters on the same bands, it is difficult to say whether this is PCI from BTS Banino or another. Do the same test outside.

I borrowed a router from a neighbor and I did tests on it, I don't know why, if we have a banan antenna, I do not connect to it on the phone or router, or if I buy a router and connect the 800 and 2100 bands, it will be something of this

This is a monument, you won't test anything on it. In this situation, in addition to the router, an antenna will be needed, in Play LTE800 does not count, only the LTE2600 + 2100 + 1800 bands.

In what location was the test performed, outdoors or at home? The Play Płoniawy-Bramura base station operates in the LTE2100 + 1800 + 800 aggregation. the phone joined in aggregation as the LTE800 baseband, very poor signal parameters and probably LTE1800 / 2100 to it on some remnants of the signal, in the neighbors some other BTS Play on LTE800, the signal even worse. The router is not everything, with such signal parameters the basis will be a directional antenna, in Play LTE800 operating at 5MHz it does not count, it has the greatest range and is usually clogged. Each LTE2100 / 1800 base station working on 15MHz bands and their aggregation count on this base station.

Thanks for the quick reply. The test was taken outside. I will add that I live gently in the well in relation to the transmitter. So what should be done to have a relatively stable and fast internet?

Take the test outside but somewhere higher, for example, outside the window on the second floor, attic. You see BTS Play standing behind the cemetery on the road to you.
