Hello all. I bought a 7-inch radio and I would like to install it in my Altea A set and remove it from the factory. Only after five new radios, the silence does not turn on. I even bought an ISO cube adapter for the new radio, but after five new radios, the silence does not turn on. I suspect that the cables in the original cube are in a different order. And honestly, I don't know myself at all. There are two red and orange cables loose in the adapter and I do not know where to put them in five so as not to burn the radio. I went through the photos, if someone could help, please. And one more question, where are the five cables from this small white cube? And what is this loose blue cable in the ISO cube for?

On this radio you have something like B + and ACC.
The original radio works after CAN - so the ACC signal is gone - that's why it does not turn on.

It is possible that this long wire is just on the ACC - but you have to check which pin goes to what.

Welcome. It turns out that orange and red, i.e. 4 and 6, are loose and I do not know where to attach them. Only yellow and black are plugged in.

4 is + 12V after the ignition switch, and 6 is the backlight adjustment, you can choose not to connect it, or connect it to the light switch.
6 is designed to reduce the brightness of the backlight in the evening (after turning on the dipped headlights).
8 ground, 7 (red) + 12V directly from the battery.

And in the ankle in the car, originally in seat it is the same. Because I don't know myself at all.

If there is an ISO cube, yes.
What's your cube there, because I don't remember.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the installation of a 7-inch aftermarket radio in a 2007 Seat Altea, focusing on wiring issues related to the ISO cube adapter. The user reports that after multiple attempts with different radios, the new unit fails to power on, suspecting incorrect wiring order in the original ISO connector. Responses clarify that the loose red and orange wires correspond to +12V after ignition and backlight adjustment, respectively. Users suggest checking the pin configuration and confirm that the original radio operates via CAN, which may affect the ACC signal. Additional guidance is provided on connecting the wires correctly to ensure functionality.
