    Hello.
I was looking for any description of this "problem" on the web - unfortunately I couldn't find it :(
Namely - I want to directly connect the NC + decoder (Model DB NCP-4740SF wifi Premiumbox +) with my Samsung Soundbar, unfortunately I have a problem with this, because the ecoder has an audio output:
Dolby Digital (SPDIF and HDMI ), and the Soundbar optical and minjack inputs ...
I bought an SPDIF (Cinch) -> minijack cable - unfortunately the decoder vs soundbar does not work in combination.
When connected with the same cable: TV -> soundbar, the sound is ...
I have no idea what I have to buy in order not to have to turn on the TV to listen to e.g. internet radio.
I was at the NC + showroom, but the salesperson only told me that many customers have this problem and he doesn't know the solution ..
    Please help :)

His model could also be written.
SPDIF output is active in the decoder settings?

The Soundbar model is in the title of the post.
I looked through the entire decoder menu - I can't find an option where to turn the audio on or off ...

There is no such thing, except as I understand it you have connected the signal to the analog input of the soundbar - it will not work.
    Use the decoder SCART socket.

Er, I think there's one more solution.

The decoder has an S / PDIF Coax output, the so-called "electric" and the sound-bar has an optical input.
The only way to do that is with an "electrical" digital to optical digital audio converter.
Such as the picture below. No problem to buy.

NCP-4740SF wifi Premiumbox + - Connection of the set-top box with the HW-H430 So

Please pay attention to the description of the converter sockets -> Coax IN - Optical Out - it is very important.

A colleague will still need a typical CINCH cable and a TosLink optical cable.

There is a cable because I bought it and I have it in my drawer :) but it does not work in the decoder-> soundbar configuration, but it works in the TV set -> soundbar (chinch output from TV and minijack input in the soundbar)
And in the case of SCART, the outputs from the bundles end with chinchas and in Sonbar they are missing - so a grommet will be necessary, I think ...

And he looks like this one ?:
NCP-4740SF wifi Premiumbox + - Connection of the set-top box with the HW-H430 So
Because it is an optical cable on both sides - it differs only in the plug (I have one next to my computer and my soundbar).

Because what you bought is probably an ordinary chinch - minijack - and not an optical cable (which a colleague asked about saucers ).

Post # 5 explains it all - buy what is recommended in it (URGENTLY pay attention to I / O ports).

You think right, buy a SCART-RCA adapter / converter, RCA-JACK cable and that's it.

And no signal on the SOUNDBAR ..
Scart + minijack grommet = no sound ...
Is there any HDMI signal splitter for other devices?
It hits me already, because of the cables I have, I would pin 300 devices - and I can't 2 ... This ITI buys crap for NC + .. In the 21st century, no optical output? Colostrum ...

What SCART, RCA adapter or SCART-RCA cable (and are you sure the outputs and not the signal input?).

So yes - I bought a SCART -> RCA cable. Then via RCA to Minijack and STILL NOT WORKING. I have already connected Audio IN and Audio Out to the grommet - no sound signal (the only hum when connecting the cables) ...
I will try the "converter" from SPIDF to "optics" -
All this fun is a nightmare ....

    Okay .. My mistake
    Fix - I bought a EURO -> RCA4 cable.
Tomorrow I will return this one and go to a professional shop and ask for what you write above. Some obscurity took me in discriminating RCA, SPIDF, cinch and all the rest :)

    Added after 6 [minutes]:

So the fix - I bought it well.
    Euroconnector (Scart) to Cinch (RCA)
In this configuration, the hell does not work ...
There are other solutions - if they are ..

But how can you be sure that you have bought Z euro for chinche and not chincha for euro? - take a picture of it and post it here.

And which RCAs do you connect the adapter to (describe it, take a photo)?

It does not run on any cables. No sound in SW.
I have to buy a "converter" but I'm afraid that I will throw money down the drain again ...
    Any more ideas?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting the NC+ decoder (Model DB NCP-4740SF wifi Premiumbox +) to a Samsung Soundbar (HW-H430). The user faces challenges due to the decoder's audio output options (Dolby Digital via SPDIF and HDMI) not being compatible with the Soundbar's inputs (optical and minijack). Attempts to use an SPDIF to minijack cable were unsuccessful. Suggestions include using a digital to optical audio converter to connect the SPDIF output from the decoder to the optical input of the Soundbar. The user also explored using SCART connections but encountered further complications. Despite various attempts and recommendations, the user has not yet resolved the audio connection issue.
