Do you allow any connecting elements to be welded to the profiles?

    Maybe yes :

You cover the fronts of the profiles with threaded plates or weld nuts to the plates and screw them with screws, preferably allen screws.

There will be no welding without welding, a very good solution. You insert the screws through the holes in the outer wall, which hide inside after tightening ...

Yes, from a different barrel, have you not thought about building your structure from ready-made aluminum profiles?
There are some ready-made systems in which, apart from the aforementioned profiles, there are a lot of accessories: fasteners, screws, covers, plugs and what else.

Optionally, without welding, using a bolt connection (pin with crosswise tapped holes, such as so-called hammer bolts in woodwork), but then it will be visible from the front.

These pins had to be made very precisely, and secondly, the walls of the profiles are only 2 mm. With greater force acting on the connection, this pin can distort the profile in which it rests against the poor 2mm and fall inside, and then the connection will fall apart

But these pins could, in a way, be installed "permanently". Drill the holes, insert the bolts and weld on the outside. Then the connection could be stable.

6-post plate version will be easier to make.

I meant to simplify the idea. In addition, washers under the screw heads.

I gave 2 solutions, one with welding, the other without, the choice depends on what you have at your disposal.
In the version with pins, if we use better steel, e.g. 45 improved or 18G2A, a 12 mm rod is enough. The thread does not have to be on the entire thickness, because you can drill the holes halfway so that there is about 6 mm of thread left. In order to prevent it from slipping, the pin must be turned at the ends to a diameter approx. 0.5 mm smaller and along the length equal to the thickness of the profile wall. This is how it is in the picture attached by me, how to take a good look ...
In the welded version, 3 mm thick plates and welded nuts on the inside are sufficient.
For aesthetic reasons, the welded version is better because you can't see anything, and the mounting holes can be closed with plastic plugs.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around creating dismountable connections for closed steel profiles measuring 50x25x2 mm. The user seeks a solution for corner and transverse connections that are secure, hidden, and easy to assemble. Various suggestions include using welded plates with threaded inserts, bolt connections, and considering aluminum profiles for their versatility and available accessories. Concerns about the visibility of connections and the structural integrity of the profiles are raised, with recommendations for using better steel materials and precise machining techniques to ensure stability. The conversation highlights the challenges of maintaining aesthetic appeal while ensuring robust connections.
