    Hello.
For some time there have been problems with opening the "large" tailgate. I can only open a small part of the hatch.
My car is Superb 2 2008, 2.0 TDI 140KM, sedan with double tailgate, twindoor.
I checked the cables under the hatch trim. They were worn but not torn off. I checked the switch (right to open the large hatch). It turned out that it has a resistor soldered inside (with an unknown value and I damaged the resistor). When I bypass the resistor, a small trunk lid opens (you can open it with two handles), when I increase the value of the resistor above 120 Ohm to approx. 800 Ohm, nothing happens.
Does any of your colleagues know what the value of the resistor in the switch / right handle for opening the large hatch should be? No. of this switch (handles) 3T0 827 566C
Where can I look for the fault?
I did not check the cables at the transition from the trunk to the body. I don't know if I will find a plug there or something that will help me check the cables.
    Please give me some advice.

In VAGs, the "parameter" is usually 180. You can try or in this case as well.

    Thank you very much.
When trying to measure this resistor, I had several readings with a value of 180 Ohm.
I think the switch is ok. I will solder a new resistor.
But the problem will not solve it, because I have already replaced such a resistor with "short".

    Summary.
    I won't write much, but still ...
For me, in my case, the failure was in the lower beam of the trunk, right next to the hatch.
I unscrewed the sheets and plastics of the lower beam.
I moved the plugs, moved the actuator itself (up - down, but rather up, as suggested by one forum member from another trip).
In a word, I have not seen a fault, but it has been fixed.
As suggested by my colleague sk700, I repaired the upper flap switch by inserting a 180 ohm resistor. The switch works. But the failure of this switch had no effect on my problem (I broke the switch while searching for a failure).
I hope someone will find this description useful :)
