    Good morning,

My kids have a PC they want to play GTA IV on Steam. Can someone help me install "crack"?

I have been using a Mac on a daily basis for years and unfortunately I have to admit that I do not limit this PC: - /

I found a topic on Steam support and I have a link to the download file (https://www.dropbox.com/s/ot6vdciggorupvl/Spoleszcz_GTAIV_1.0.8.0.rar?dl=0) but I have no idea where to replace the files ...

    Thank you in advance! :)

Maybe I am visually impaired, but this is sometimes not a normal exe file? How do you unpack and run it, what is happening?

    Steam Tip -
With the release of the GTA IV 1.0.8.0 update on November 29, 2016, the installer of the official Grand Theft Auto IV by the GTA Polska team (IronSquad) for version 1.0.7.0 has stopped working.

Merlin1984 has created an unofficial Polish version from version 1.0.7.0 and adapted to version 1.0.8.0. The Polish files come from version 1.0.7.0, but the installer did not work in the new version of the game.
Now you have to turn the files into the game fleder by yourself, but it is not necessary to downgrade the game.

    Where it was installed.
You can check in library -> games -> select a game PPM -> properties, local files, browse local files, (generally in steamapps, common.)

I have no idea where the game was installed ... how do I find this file?

    Can I ask someone to:
    - link to the folder with files to be downloaded (or to send these 2 files)
    - description of where on the disk the folder where I should replace the files can be

Steam - library - right on GTA IV - properties, local files, browse local files. You will be in the GTA IV directory.

An unsolvable problem. It required new equipment.
