Hello, I recently use a pump from behind the eastern border, but yesterday while watering the garden, the pump for a moment began to make a strange sound like a rattle. And then insight won't start. I dialed me and nothing ... Membranes ok. Still does not start. Maybe someone had a similar problem and knows how to solve it. The pump may have been out of the water for a few seconds but could it have affected the failure?

Hello, sure that someone had a similar failure and not with one or many such pumps - maybe not necessarily from Russia but probably most of Chrl. A colleague will check the winding resistance, in Chinese it even met aluminum, or the wire burst at the entrance to the pump.

Thanks. Can you explain more precisely what windings are meant? For me it's such dark magic :)

In fact, this pump is one big coil. If you have a multimeter, check the resistance on the plug pins, or after disassembly, make sure that there are no swollen places inside, no water leaks from under the reservoir - you can throw photos of the inside of the pump. And make sure that the core that enters the pump is able to move inside it.

Hello, what should be the resistance of such a pump between the pins?

Hello, I think about a dozen, several dozen ohm, certainly between the bolts and the housing soooo big. There is currently no time to search for a pump and measure

I still have a pump at home in Soviet production. She started to make a difference so I bought a new one due to lack of time to check. She came from maybe a month. No resistance on the plug. The application burned somewhere scroll. I even measured at the entrance to the pump by pricking the wires with pins. Same. Advertised. I have received a cash refund. Then I pulled out the old pump. It turned out that the cord broke. I have repaired and hula until now although it is very battered. The housing has already begun to wipe out. In addition, the rubber check valve spilled. I found a donor and it still works.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a malfunctioning pump, reportedly of Belarusian origin, which began making a rattling noise and subsequently failed to start. Users suggest checking the winding resistance, as issues with the coil or internal components may be the cause. Recommendations include using a multimeter to measure resistance at the plug pins and inspecting for water leaks or swollen areas inside the pump. One user shared experiences with a Soviet-era pump that had similar issues, ultimately leading to a successful repair after identifying a broken cord. Photos of the pump's interior were shared for further analysis.
