So-called allotment gardens, so far I have not had electricity, with a petrol mower a friend comes by, I do not frequent after dark, I do not need any receivers, kettles, possibly music from the phone. But a couple of neighbors decided to make a connection, so there is an opportunity to join. The garden electrician made a prescribed box, I hooked him on the subject, because I am not in a hurry. He said that when I do the installation in the house and reach the cable near the box, I should let him know and he will then connect me. The cable is to be 3*2.5mm². Now to the point, the cable I have to pull underground across half the plot, about 30 meters, push under the hedge (prickly barberry  ) and the concrete foundation under the grid, and then under the alley, the connection is in the neighbor's grid on the other side. Is it supposed to be some kind of special cable, since it will be in the ground and not in the room? To what depth to bury under the allotment alley? Are there any regulations or just common sense? And what to perform in the house. Certainly necessary some kind of fuse holder, although I only need one double contact, because at most there will be an electric lawnmower and maybe some radio, a light switch and some kind of lamp under the ceiling. Are there any boxes , or enclosures for one fuse? At home I have one for four for years installed.

I on my plot dug for three stich 60-70 cm. YKY cable I gave 3x4mm² I had 21m to the box, but I plan to use a welder. Under the alley it falls out to give the cable in a tube. It is important to lay the cable in the trench in a layer of sand, in the trench you lay the cable(snake not in a straight line), then a layer of 5-10cm of sand, raise the cable on top and another layer of sand 5-10cm. Then 20-30cm of earth, blue foil and earth flush. Of course, at the box and the entrance to the gazebo reserve about 0,5-1m. In the gazebo then, depending on whether the meter will be in the box or gazebo would fall out to give some small switchboard.

Thanks, that's what I meant. The meter and fuse is in that external box,
but I will also give at the entrance of the house a box with a fuse and outlets, first I will connect a surface-mounted loose contact to that. When I connect the current in that box I will use a drill to fix it and pull the cable to the lamp and switch. And I'll connect it when I turn off the fuse.
In my plan there will be only an electric lawnmower about 1200W, maybe a radio on a power supply from 230. Lighting I do not know if I will ever use, because in the evening cut mosquitoes, from that I escape earlier.

It is also necessary to have a ground fault circuit interrupter for the outlet circuit and measurements after the installation.

Thanks. I'll call an electrician to watch before I take off with the power intake, however, it would be better to have someone look at it :)
But I already know what to buy, prepare and what cable.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the installation of underground electrical cables for allotment gardens. The user seeks advice on the appropriate cable type and burial depth for a 30-meter run to connect to a neighbor's grid. Recommendations include using YKY cable (3x4mm²) buried at a depth of 60-70 cm, with protective measures such as laying the cable in sand and using a conduit under the alley. A ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) is advised for safety, and the user plans to install a fuse box at the house entrance. The installation will primarily support a 1200W electric lawnmower and possibly a radio. The user expresses gratitude for the guidance received and confirms that materials have been purchased according to the provided instructions.
