As in the subject. I am interested in whether you can share a picture from a cell phone to a TV so that you can watch nc + go. I will add that I tried to install the application itself on the TV, but something did not work. I also tried to share a picture from a cell on tv using a smart view, but the image was blocked by the application itself. After connecting the laptop with the tv using the hdmi normally everything works. I read something about wifi directe but I do not know how to go about it and whether it is possible at all. Maybe someone else has an idea how to deal with it?

Hmm .. I was able to share the video with ytbe. I had to delete my previous miracast connections, maybe it will help someone in the future. As for the nc + go application itself, I do not even have an option that allows me to send this image to a television. Maybe it's the application's fault.

For now there is no application on the boxes (TV), you need to upload the one from the tablet and then the remote control does not have only the mouse connected to the box. It's annoying.

If you can install KODI on your TV (on those with Android TV you can usually do it) then you can watch NC + GO on KODI.
Here is the link how to install it: https://kodiwpigulce.pl/jak-zinstallowac-dodatek-ncgo-w-kodi-18-poradnik/
On my Philips 55PUS7334 works without problems. The NC + GO 5.12.1 tablet application worked with jams, and the biggest problem was the lack of the icon for the NC + application in the TV menu ..

FAQ

TL;DR: NC+ GO allows up to 4 registered devices, and "This is a paid service for one device." If casting to your TV fails, use HDMI or supported alternatives instead. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17331862]

Why it matters: This helps Philips and Android TV owners avoid blocked screens and wasted device slots while still watching channels.

Quick Facts

Can I mirror NC+ GO from a Samsung Galaxy S8 to a Philips 43PUS6162/12?

Users report the NC+ GO app blocks Smart View/Miracast mirroring, and the app lacks a cast button. YouTube casting worked after removing old Miracast pairings, but NC+ GO stayed blocked. Expect a black screen or refusal when mirroring NC+ GO content. [Elektroda, TRZESLAW, post #17331766]

How do I fix Smart View/Miracast casting glitches on my Philips 43PUS6162/12?

“I had to delete my previous Miracast connections.” Try this: 1) Forget old Miracast devices on your phone and TV. 2) Reconnect with both on the same Wi‑Fi. 3) Test with YouTube, then retry your app. Note: NC+ GO may still block mirroring even after this cleanup, as reported by users. [Elektroda, TRZESLAW, post #17331766]

How can I stream videos from my phone to a Philips 43PUS6162/12 without installing NC+ GO on the TV?

Use your phone as a remote and stream when both the phone and TV are on the same Wi‑Fi network. The Philips manual covers sending media and controlling playback this way. This works for typical online videos, though NC+ GO may block mirroring. [Elektroda, czeles, post #17331726]

What are the NC+ GO device limits and registration rules?

NC+ GO is a paid service for one device. Accounts can register up to 4 devices. Exceeding this limit or attempting extra devices may cause access issues. Keep track of your registered devices before adding new hardware. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17331862]

Will an Android TV box play NC+ GO?

Users found no official NC+ GO app on many boxes. The workaround was sideloading the tablet APK and navigating with a USB mouse. One user summarized the experience as “annoying,” but functional enough to watch. [Elektroda, Monangel, post #18289971]

Does NC+ GO work on a TX3 mini box?

Yes, one user watched for a year on a TX3 mini by connecting a mouse, following the sideload approach mentioned earlier. Remote-only control was not sufficient. This confirms box playback can work with extra input hardware. [Elektroda, Raiz3n, post #18291616]

The NC+ GO app logs in on TCL 55EP660 but crashes on playback. Any known case?

A user with TCL 55EP660x1 reported successful login, but the app crashed when starting a program. No stable in-app fix was provided in-thread. Consider alternative access methods described in other entries. [Elektroda, lukaszablowski, post #18333820]

What workaround plays NC+ GO content on Android TV reliably?

Install the KODI add-on for NC+ GO. A Philips 55PUS7334 user reported it “works without problems,” while the NC+ GO tablet app version 5.12.1 stuttered. Follow the add-on guide referenced there for setup. [Elektroda, patrykd76, post #18383003]

Is HDMI from a laptop a reliable way to watch NC+ GO on a TV?

Yes. Connecting a laptop to the TV via HDMI provided normal NC+ GO playback. If casting or box apps fail, HDMI remains the simplest dependable option. Keep your browser updated and use the official site for best results. [Elektroda, TRZESLAW, post #17331626]

How do I watch now that NC+ GO ended and shifted to CANAL+ online?

NC+ GO was discontinued. Use the CANAL+ online platform and its current app for supported devices. The older NC+ GO app may stop working, so migrate your viewing to CANAL+ online and check their device list. [Elektroda, CodeBoy, post #20791855]

Does NC+ GO offer a cast button or native send-to-TV?

In the discussed case, the NC+ GO app showed no send-to-TV option. Attempted screen sharing was blocked by the app. This contrasts with apps like YouTube, which cast after Miracast cleanup. [Elektroda, TRZESLAW, post #17331766]

Do I need Wi‑Fi Direct, or should I use Miracast/Smart View?

Use Miracast/Smart View for quick phone-to-TV casting. Users fixed casting by deleting old Miracast pairings and reconnecting. Wi‑Fi Direct setup was not required in that scenario. Your results may vary by phone and firmware. [Elektroda, TRZESLAW, post #17331766]

Can I use a family member’s NC+ GO login on a TV box?

The service is paid and limited to one device, with up to 4 registered devices on the account. Shared credentials may quickly hit device limits. Review the service rules before adding a box. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17331862]
