    Hello,
I'm preparing for the nc + offer with a 4K Ultrabox + USW4001NCP decoder with multiroom (second WiFi BOX + decoder) for this available channels from FTA with HB and Astra. To connect all decoders correctly, I need to pull two cables from the converter to the 4K decoder and one cable from the converter to the BOX + decoder. Wide-Band converters are recommended on the nc + service pages and in the manuals. I searched the net and found either quatro monoblocks or wideband.
Can you suggest a converter, best proven (which someone uses for similar climates), or one that will be suitable for such a solution.
    Best regards,
    Jack

And what about this Wide Band? For example this converter - link is WB and has different output frequencies. How is it nc + recommends the Wide-Band converter, otherwise it will not be fully used.

That's right, ultrabox will not use its capabilities, but you also have a second decoder that only supports standard converters. WB only for ultabox and only for Hot Bird.

And how do I need to have Wide-Band on ultrabox and have astra channels? Is there a monoblock quad with a video band?
And if not, then how to set it up, e.g. 2 independent WB converters somehow connected and the signal goes to both decoders. Can you do this without pulling three cables from the antenna, only one (two) and then tees?
    Best regards,
    Jack

This is. Page 11 of that decoder's instruction manual says so.

It turns out that the Wide-Band converter is needed to simultaneously record 3 programs and watch the fourth one. If I don't care, I can have a monoblock and by topic.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around selecting the appropriate converter for a 4K Ultrabox+ and USW4001NCP decoder setup with multiroom capabilities, specifically for receiving channels from Hot Bird (HB) and Astra satellites. Users highlight the necessity of pulling multiple cables from the converter to the decoders, with recommendations favoring wide-band converters for optimal performance. However, concerns arise regarding compatibility with the second decoder, which only supports standard converters. The conversation also touches on the possibility of using a monoblock quad LNB or multiple wide-band converters to achieve the desired setup without excessive cabling. Ultimately, it is noted that a wide-band converter is essential for simultaneous recording and viewing capabilities, while a standard LNB suffices for Astra channels.
