Hello, I have TV Box MXQ PRO + 4K.
I have an optical fiber with a speed of 50 - 60 Mbs
The internet is sent to the apartment via a TP LINK router supporting speeds up to 150 Mbs.
All devices are in one room at a distance of max 4-5 m from the router.
I check the speed on a laptop, about 58 Mbs
Checking on an android phone with the laptop turned off is about 50 Mbs
I check on the search engine on TV BOX and there it shows a note: less than 2 Mbs
Watching a movie on KODI, for example, you can't watch. Connection to the router full range.
Internet to devices is automatically assigned only password protected.
I wanted to ask: what could be the reason for such a big speed limit on TV BOX?

    Hello,

as I myself am the owner of this wonderful TV box (which I de facto broke yesterday while flashing) I must say that this model is equipped with a weak wifi card. However, I had no problem with the wifi connection. 2mbit in your case indicates that the wifi card in the tvbox synchronizes on the B standard as long as I'm not mistaken and therefore larger transfers are unfortunately not possible.

Probably the wifi card in tvbox "does not like" with your router, therefore it synchronizes on lower parameters.

Try in the router-> wifi settings - change the standards from Auto (because you probably have it set) to G (unfortunately your TVbox does not have the N standard).

So yes, it's not the router's fault, because even if it's a cable connection, it's the same. I'm still standing still.

Added after 5 [hours] 16 [minutes]:

And yet it works, I reinstalled KODI and the repositories again. I have no idea what was, but it works.

    Hello
I have such a problem with my MXQ PRO 4K as we know. The WiFi in it works hopelessly, so I connected everything after the cable, it connects at full speed, but when the exclusive box does not detect the internet after switching it on again, I have to pull the plug from the internet cable and reconnect.
I will add that I have a net from Vectra and a variable IP and I noticed on the device if I'm not mistaken in the settings is fixed IP but I can not do anything with this setting. I would be grateful for help because I am annoyed by pulling and using the cable from the Internet every day
    Regards Darek

I had it too. I found somewhere on the net that you should permanently reserve the address in the router and preferably still outside the router's DHCP pool.
I set it as in the screenshot and for now there is no problem with no LAN connection.
You can see in the attached picture that the router has assigned the TV-BOX address permanently.
DHCP mode set on the TV-BOX.
