Xblitz GO Recorder Firmware Update Error: Used Xblitz GO SE File, NTK 96650 vs 96658

    Hello

    I started to update the firmware of the Xblitz GO camera and after the operation I noticed that I used a file for the Xblitz GO SE camera (the look is the same - it confused me a bit). Now the webcam displays (does not record) only the image without any icons on the screen, it does not respond to any buttons. Could I have blown the equipment?

    Cameras differ, among others czipsetem:
    Xblitz GO has Novatek NTK 96650 and Xblitz GO SE has NTK 96658.

    I also can't upload this correct firmware, i.e. after inserting the card with the correct firmware, the diode flashes several times (as the manufacturer says on his website) and the camera turns on but it is without improvement - only the image.

    I do not see any software updates at the manufacturer's. There is no information on the net that the upgrade is available.
    I connected the Xblitz GO SE recorder to the computer and it was not detected.
    I had to connect the memory card directly to the laptop.
    Can you connect to the recorder from the computer to view the memory card?

    The USB in the webcam is probably only for charging.

    Xblitz GO SE !!!

    It is updated via the Sd card, it is formatted to FAT. Firmware is put on it. Then, on the turned off camera, you connect the power, then turn off the device, insert the sd card with the firmware and press 1 power and wait for it to turn on by itself. Then you format the card in the device. The file cannot be left on the card because when it is turned back on. It will update again and so on.
    For me, the update itself took about 2 minutes.

    CHECK 5x BEFORE YOU CHANGE SOFT BECAUSE YOU MAY HAVE NEWER !!!

    I replaced it with the version you pasted here - 20180111ZXCI.
    However, I am not sure if it is actually a newer version :)

    I don't understand why you changed if you had a newer one. By the way, it's strange that you managed to upload the older version.

    o no, so I replaced the newer with an older one :( my mistake. I suggested the numbering. I thought the one from the forum is fresher.

    Recently I sent them (Xblitz Polska) an inquiry about sending the latest software for Xblitz Go Se and this is how I received the answer:

    It is a pity that there is no Xblitz software (such as in Garmin) that you connect and update to the latest version.

    Perhaps someday there will be something like this, so far you have to count on the service or someone wise who will download soft from the device and here will make it available as an update ;)

    we do not provide software for our cameras. Any updates are installed only in the complaint procedure of the cameras.
    In this case, the software versions differ only in the batch of camera deliveries
