Hello, I have such a question for you, I have a computer with the following parameters purchased 3 days ago.
    Itel Core i5-2400 3.10Ghz processor
    8GB RAM memory
    GeForce GT 1030 graphics card
my expectations for fps in fortnite were 120 FPS, while in the lobby I have 60-80 in the game, while it jumps 50-60-70 graphics settings are bad ... everything is almost low, not what I expected. I installed the drivers for the card and now the question is whether more I will not pull out or maybe something just does not work as it should?

You haven't written exactly what the card is, maybe you have the DDR4 version instead of GDDR5, that would explain the poor performance. 120 fps is only in the lowest details you will get out on this card, and for them to be stable you have to add 720p.

This card reaches 60-80fps in low-medium FHD, I know because I had it. It also depends on whether you turn off filtering or post processes. There is no need to think about the high ones, there is a problem with them even on the GTX1050 (comfort-medium / high).

Well, the card is DDR4 2gb. I somehow set it up and it's the 60-80 fps I was hoping for more, but well, it must be enough for now :D
Thanks for the answers, best regards. :)

One more question, does the power supply have any influence on it?

Well, someone pressed you crap, a normal GT 1030 costs practically the same as the DDR4 version, and it is several times more efficient and no one consciously buys the DDR4 version.

The fault of the weaker version of the graphics card.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around low FPS issues in Fortnite experienced by a user with an Intel Core i5-2400 processor, 8GB RAM, and a GeForce GT 1030 graphics card. The user expected 120 FPS but observed only 60-80 FPS in the lobby and 50-70 FPS during gameplay, even with low graphics settings. Responses suggest that the performance is limited by the GT 1030, particularly if it is the less efficient DDR4 version rather than the GDDR5 variant. Recommendations include optimizing settings by lowering resolution to 720p and disabling filtering and post-processing effects. The user considers upgrading to a more efficient graphics card after realizing the limitations of the current one.
