Hello, I currently have a positive ODU-IDO 100 set at home. The external aneta is connected by a coaxial cable to the router at home. I want to change my Internet provider to T-mobile with the Huawei B525 modem / router. Which external antenna would you recommend to enhance the signal? There is a T-mobile antenna nearby (Łódź, Łódzkie
ul. Zakładowa 143) with LTE 800 and 2600 bands as well as UMTS 900 and 2100. How will it also be possible to connect the B525 router / modem with a coaxial cable? is there any adapter?

Do a T-Mobile test on an LTE phone with the Network Cell Info application and show the screen from the DATA and speedtest tab. Indoor and outdoor test. To the BTS about 600m, so there should be no problems with the range. You need to check how T-Mobile works in this location. LTE2600, LTE800 T-Mobile and LTE1800NetWorks and aggregation of these 3 LTE bands work on BTS. Possible external antenna after testing all bands and aggregation on B525.

So I found out the following information.
A potential good antenna for the Huawei B525 modem that would work in the 800-2600 band is, for example, https://www.dipol.com.pl/a7054,search-4344
Unfortunately, it must be connected to the modem using the wires located above the antenna (impedance 50 Ohms).
The coaxial cable, on the other hand, has an impedance of 75 Ohms, so it is not possible to connect the antenna with a modem to the current installation)
I close the topic and thank you for your help.

Finally, I will try to place the modem in a different place where I hope that the modem will have range without an external antenna. Then I will connect it to the network and distribute it around the house with a switch.
