    Hello,

During my last visit to the Vectra showroom, I learned that they are already pushing new customers to ipv6. Does anyone have such a service and is able to share impressions of its operation? Still most of the services on the internet are only available on ipv4 and I'm afraid ipv6 clients are hidden behind some 6to4 nat. I'm afraid it will be inefficient ...

In general, I do not trust the equipment from the operator because mistakes have happened to everyone. I would prefer to configure my own Mikrotik with wrt as firewall / router and QoS and only use their hardware as a modem / media converter. Or maybe someone uses their own router / firewall with ipv6? If they do sell ipv6, do they prefix / 64?

    Regards,

You were misinformed. You'll still have IPv4

Most of the content on the net is not yet fully prepared for IPv6 - turn it off, because there are more problems with it than good.

It's just like KOCUREK says, ipv6 has practically all ISPs ready ... maybe the technician meant they were ready. Trust you won't have ipv6 yet

I have Mikrotik with a Vectra router (set to bridge) all on IPv4 and it works flawlessly. I didn't play with IPv6.
