    Hello.
Over the weekend, I had an unpleasant situation and someone probably stole / appropriated my lost phone. Unfortunately, I am not one hundred percent sure if the phone has already been found or if it is still not known where. Unfortunately, the phone was on the verge of exhaustion (5% of the battery), but using the google website with the option "Find my phone" shows me the location of the phone in gray on the map (that is, as I suppose, it shows the place where someone tried to turn on the phone, and not the current location in real time) I reported the matter to the police and in a conversation with the police officer made it clear (by showing the printout of this location) that someone had probably stolen or hijacked this phone. The officer said that this person has 14 days to return this phone and only then can he accept the report as theft / appropriation and at the moment only for loss, so I was probably doomed to myself at this moment. If someone of you was so kind and helped me in some way, he directed me. Maybe there is something I don't know which I missed, and it could somehow make it easier for me to find my smartphone.
Are there any legal or non-legal phone tracking software?
Is there any chance to locate a phone that's turned off?
Is an ordinary gray passerby able to overcome the security of such a phone?
And how exactly the google map works, which I attach below (it is a map with the google application find my phone) Does the gray color of the phone marker mean that it is in a given place but it is turned off or just the last location, because there has been such a location for 2 days. Another active phone is green)
And one last thing. Please take a look at the second attachment from the findmymobile website. Does this mean that the application is working and if someone turns on the phone, I will get a notification on this page? And the most important issue is whether the application is assigned to the phone or only to the account and can be disabled / reset when someone resets the phone to factory settings?
In fact, at the moment, that's all that comes to mind. If someone survived to the end and I try to clarify the situation for me and answer the questions, I will be very grateful.
    Best wishes.

What kind of security did you have? rather, no one will have fun breaking security to see your photos ;-) they will upload a new soft, they will remove the FRP, only that after turning on the court / prosecutor's office in the villages, the operator will give them the number of a new card, etc.

It's a new phone. So it will come out. Someone will turn it on and even if he puts in another card it will be visible. For now, as you were told in the police. The finder has 14 days to return it, after this time it is already misappropriation.

If you don't find it yourself, don't count on the police ;)

Contrary to appearances, phones are among the most frequently recovered items.

So I can rather come to terms with losing my phone? Unless, on the basis of this google map with the last location, report the case to the police again as theft? But will it do anything? You don't know how with this Find My Mobile application? After uploading the new software, it will not work? Will he not show me this phone on the site?

You won't find the phone after HR. Consider whether it was theft. Because there is a paragraph for making false statements.

If the google application shows the last location of the phone, it is definitely theft / appropriation because I haven't been in that place for a long time. Please have a look at the map in the attachment

Theft and appropriation are different matters. Sometimes the application shows little accuracy.
Someone found and was walking with your phone. And as I wrote, it has 14 days to take steps to find the owner.
If you are sure it has been stolen, please report it. But as I wrote to you for giving false testimony, there is a paragraph. The police told you that too. By the way, you will be asked exactly about the circumstances of the loss.
